i just realized i still have pot bonuses for MoN…forgot about that.

Oh, and I know we made the singles 2 out of 3 and 3 out of 5 for finals, but should it be single elimination in singles or double elimination. I vote double elimination for all games.

What about teams? I know its 1 match but should it be single or double elimination? I think it should be single elim.

Most of the team tourneys that have been run for GG over the last 6 months or so have been double elim, but I don’t know how constrained for time we are.

hey so… since i’ve never been to a tourney in columbia before:

can one of you guys hook me up with housing? i dunno if any of the other chicago cats are planning to crash at any of your places, but let me/us know. i won’t say for free (i got a unopened bottle of jager).

if not, i’ll just go ahead and book a room at stoney creek inn.

I don’t think I’ll have much people at my house, if any, since I’ll be at the hotel most of the time. I’d suggest you gettin some peeps from UIUC and splitting a room with multiple people. Its about 80 bucks for a deluxe room with 2 beds which isn’t bad if you get 5 or 6 people.

If you decide to bring a ps2 with any of the tournament games, I’ll waive your registration fee.

Since we’ll be having an extra game, Melty Blood, I’m thinkin we’ll make the team tourney’s single elim.

Shekeib - If you wan teams to be double elim (it shouldnt take that long honestly) I’d be happy to run it. I’ll have an extra setup available.

i actually have been thinking that american tournaments should all be single-elim and no character switching for a while now. but yea, americans are weak sauce i guess.

i actually won’t care if team is single elim. i actually kind of feel like it should be… considering we know how long those usually take. slash teams at mwc last month took like 10 hours to complete.

We had a single elim singles tourney two months ago and it was 3/5 rounds. Lots of very close matches actually.
