Hey I just remembered my copy of Slash belongs to you guys so I ordered a new one, it should be here in a week or two.
I’m gonna hit Gunther’s tonight, probably around when I get out of class (either 3:15 or 5:00) and then again after DDR club (8:00-10:00).
Dang, just ordered that high speed internet crap from Centurytel the other day. So then I’ll finally be able to watch combo vids and crap.

So I guess Paul and I are going to get together at my place Sunday night (night, right?) after he gets back from ren faire or WTF ever, who else wants to play? Doesn’t have to be GG. Chris is there any way you can just cancel plans to play Friday or Saturday and study for IR then, then play on Sunday? George if you want to come I bet we can arrange rides for you somehow. Tony you down? Who else? I guess Josh doesn’t have an Internet connection so I’ll call him unless the whole idea is shot and only Paul and I can play.
Well I’m probably going to sleep a lot today and I’m not real crazy about studying on Saturday since I have free time. I might study a little on Saturday and then go back home early on Sunday to do the rest. How early are you guys planning on meeting next Sunday?

Yeah Sunday is actually no good for me. I was going over the material for this test and it’s going to take me awhile.
I works the Sunday nights. Off at 10, but down for some games after that. I work Saturday morning, and so would probably be for some games after work. At least a few to get me in a good drinking mood for St. Patty’s.
It’s not that I want to, mind. But I’m an irish engineer. I have to drink. It’s the law.
I’m taking my vacation from April 2nd through April 10th. I also will be in town for the 26th and 27th.

The most slanted matchup in the whole game, ABA vs. May, is 6.5/3.5 – by way of comparison Ky vs. Robo-Ky in Slash is 8/2 for Ky
So this early on I believe the game is actually significantly more balanced than three-month Slash was. I wonder which characters still have a lot of growth potential. I’m still disappointed there are so many basic characters so high up, I can’t think of any scrubby characters who were really all that good in #R except for Jam, Slayer and kinda Dizzy.
edit: Also worth noting, the top ten is basically nine easy-mode characters, and then Zappa in ninth place. At least Eddie is hard to execute. Except for Zappa, none of the game’s complicated characters – Bridget, Ky, Millia, Dizzy, Johnny, I-no, Anji, Robo-Ky and Venom – crack the top ten.
