You are right on point Andrew, Blazblue is dogshit compared to gear right now, but it has some potential to be fixed.

Columbia doesn’t really host tournaments anymore, least far as I can tell.
STL, KC, and apparently Springfield (wait, Springfield, honestly?) are having a tournament this month, with the ranbat and max out being on the same day. They’re probably your best bet.
