Ninja Gaiden 1 down. That didn’t take as long as I’d thought. I’d try to one-life it but it’s too much effort for a game I don’t actually like.
I think trying to 1 life NG is stupid hard; until you get to 6 the game’s a cakewalk but 7 is made to kill you in the most ridiculous ways possible.
I could probably do it if I could memorize where all the jumpslash and magic points were…
I only died once the game I one-credited it, and it wasn’t on one of the “hard” parts. There’s a way to simplify most of the bullshit, the only thing that gives me trouble is actually 6-1 of all things since I forget where all the spawn points are.
Also there isn’t a level 7, did you mean 5 and 6
I’m having a hard time getting used to NG2, the hitbox on the sword is much smaller and I keep missing enemies that then knock me into pits. The pan enemy is really fucking annoying too.
Yeah, my bad. For some reason I was thinking it was 7 :lovin: That’s weird about NG2; I’ve always felt it’s much easier than the first one. I’m pretty positive I one-credited that game.
I’m trying to think of a game I’d like to one credit/one life. That is after i finishg the hundreds of hours ive yet to spend on Fallout 3 and Persona 4 coming next week. Fuck!
I wonder if one life-ing Castlevania 4 is as easy as i remember it to be.
I remember thinking 2 was easier too, because it throws one-ups and life refills at you, the shadow clones are super scrubby, you get tons of hearts etc, so maybe on the whole it isn’t as hard as 1, but it’s got a lot of stupid shit. The hitbox on the sword is much smaller, especially beneath the sword, and the enemy hitboxes are really fucked up and counterintuitive, so there are times you can miss the pan enemies during their roll while you’re crouching. The eagles are harder to avoid and they’re usually around pits, although they only do 1 damage now.
Also every other jump is one of those “wait for the bat or for the enemy on the other side that you may not have been able to tell was there or you’re dead” jumps.
So far I don’t like 2, maybe that’ll change though.

I never finished two by myself. I remember beating it with friends a few times, but it just kinda drove me nuts with all the stuff that…well just doesn’t make any goddamn sense.

Hmm, you’re prolly right but I can’t remember since it’s been a minute since I played it. But I will say one thing: I bet that game is tough to 1-credit without shadow clones cause they certainly do all the work :bgrin:

Everytime I try to play random online matches they are just laggy as hell. However, everyone else who has been using it says that when you play against friends it’s fine so maybe I just need to start trying that out.
I played on psn a week ago at Ben’s and it was super smooth/NO LAG/little warping. But when i tried ranking matches i couldn’t figure it out? then i watched some vids from the front page(srk) of keits(HDRX) and he was in a room of 6 peeps waiting there turn like an arcade machine!. too tight. i was just doing quick match. man i gotta get dis crack. :looney: BTW, keits was having sound glitches and life bar glitches on HDRX.
I know there are more peeps on HDRX than HDRP, but i can’t justify buying an xbox, it’s like buying an american car… a bad idea. RRoD and all the class action law suits, not to mention it’s bill gates/MS :rolleyes:
