Heheheh, yeah, I know what you mean. People entering because it’s a dollar, and you owning me with shenannigans in the finals with a character I thought about playing? God, I had hemma inside tears about that, but it’s all good - I suck at 3s anyway, hahaha. I’m looking into getting the japanese version now actually, so hopefully I’ll have a near-perfect arcade port to practice on pretty soon. Then I’ll get into it.
GGXX was good. Jon and Andrew get the most improved awards I think, but everyone has gotten better overall anyway. Like I said before, after attending MWC, I think (and so should all of you) that Columbia has a pretty good scene for the game. Andrew, extended props for having us all over, it was a great time. I still didn’t borrow any SNES games from you! Argh!
Highlights:

Starfox, wow that game is so good. Why is the first one so much darker than the later ones? SNES Starfox is one the best games on the SNES, so I pump that shit up! Falco: Berbip bo berwo.
Seth and I acting like complete jackasses and jacking each other hemma while playing Mario Kart.
I go for Koopa Troopa, Seth says “Way to go for the top tier already”, and I’m like “Really? I’ve always used him”, then we go 50/50 with him using DK Jr. and me using Koopa…so, on account of handicap and stage selection, I gotta say Seth is my master at Mario Kart. but I had to rep that shit in Megaman at his house once, mwaha!

Fun games indeed. I just wanted to say that it was hemma cool getting to hang out at Andrew’s house after the tourney, and that it was cool seeing everyone again.
John: Good shit with Baiken. Way to improve. And yes, I like the sound of Korean Potemkin Buster. 
Paul: Nice stuff with Johnny. You, too, improved and it was cool seeing that.
Andrew: It was cool staying at your place and it was cool getting to play you again. Your Bridget’s improved and it was cool getting input to some of my weaknesses.
Josh: It was cool playing your Axl again, and I’ll try to see if I can come up to the next monthly. No promises since there’s a bit of a snag on asking for days off in August. I’ll definately keep you up to date.

All hands on deck, this is 722 and I need mad home-version practice before Evo. I’m going to STL some time Wednesday and I won’t be back in town until the Tuesday after that. I think Josh doesn’t have Internet access right now, so I’ll try to answer this one. Most of the cabinets have Happ Ultimates with hard springs, including Guilty Gear. Super Turbo and SF3:Third Strike are on Perfect 360s.
And thanks for the kindasorta offer, I actually meant local people as I don’t know if I’ll even be in STL long enough to get games in before I go to Evo. (But hey, if I get the chance and anyone in STL wants to play me, I’ll be there bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.) I definitely know how you feel about XX. Ideally I’d like to quit playing the game entirely for #R after Evolution, it’s not a bad game but I think it’s obsolete.
