well…i just realized i promised my mom i would stay home this week till friday for a extended allowance for the tournament…so i cant really play, but yeah, in the future i can probaly get a ride home anyway as long as i know where i am and i walk to a landmark (mall,gunthers,slackers etc…) to wait for a ride from my dad or bro

Fighting Shoheibs Yun was so frustrating that by time I played Shekieb I had no drive left.

I think I’m pretty much done with 3s as of now cause 70 % of my characters cant beat Yun,Ken,or Chun CONSISTANTLY.
I have to rely on Alex,Urien,and Ken to fight them. And I’m not too fond of them either.

Nah I’m quitt’n. Like I said I like those 3 alot latley and they just are not top characters.
The main 3 suck. I mean that in a wierd way. I honestly feel like for the “SHO” brothers to just have been playing 3s for the lil time that they have been playing, and to get legitimate wins against me, a player that has been playing since it came out and know ALL the characters…somethings really wrong with the top 3 imo.
I didn’t even feel like those guys knew the character in and out like I do and they were still winning sometimes. Thats stupid. maybe I’m an elitest but thats just how I feel.
No direspect to you guys thats just a flaw in the game to me.

You should play guilty gear…that game is more balanced. You can pick any character in that game and do really well…You see a bunch of different characters win in tournament for that game.
I know you don’t like the whole “dark” theme to it, but its a good game.
Cameron, thanks for everything. I know it’s not easy for you to spend a whole night playing while you have a kid at home. Thanks for sticking with us the whole time. Even though we don’t really know each other, you treated us as if we were old friends. That type of respect goes a long way. I have to say the same thing for Simon who changed his plans to play with us and also found us a place to stay.
As far as 3s goes. Right now I’m just trying to be as efficient as possible. I’ve always been competitive in things like school and MMA. I just want to be the best no matter what. I always thought about fighting games as a hobby but I try to be efficient with that now too.
That’s why I stick to just one character and try to learn all of the match ups. That’s also why we went to NE. It’s only by chance that we are going to FFA. So when we have time to play fighting games I want to make that session as much of a learning experience as I can.
It’s also the reason why I played Simon at Guilty. Not because I thought I was going to beat him, I just wanted to learn from what he was doing against me.

You saw Aaron at the Center the bald guy. Dosn’t know shit about any other character, does whatever he wants, and still wins with Ken. Thats so fucking gay!
You cant go wrong learing Yun and all his match ups, cause hes the best once you get him down. Once you get to a certain level with him though all the other characters seem like your fighting a baby.
Yall can go further than Ne at this shit though man. If u keep traveling and soaking up knowledge, learning matchups. Cause I noticed that alot my losses came from just not fighting a Yun. Like ever!! So Family Funs gonna be great for yall.

Thanks to the DDR club we may have a room that we can use for fighting games at the University on Wednesday nights, 7 to 11 PM. I don’t want to go making any promises until I talk to the club president a little more but I think we can start the Wednesday after Thanksgiving break.
