Hey Josh was talking about running a tournament the weekend before or the weekend after Thanksgiving, it’s really close to NEC and Dead of Winter or whatever it’s called so I don’t think we’ll get a lot of out-of-towners but I suggest the weekend before… it only gives us three weeks to prepare but I’m going to NEC the 2nd and 3rd so… I won’t be in town lol.

It’d be cool if we had a local tourney and maybe some people from STL or somethin on the weekend before or after thanksgiving. I was still thinkin about havin the Middle of Nowhere tournament in January like at the college or somethin.
Damn, we need to figure that out. I think we could try to prepare for it during Christmas break, that’ll give me the most free time. So…Andrew, when do you think we should have our next Middle of Nowhere tournament? I was thinking sometime in January. There isn’t any big tournament in January that would conflict with it, is there?
I want to have like at least 5 TV’s set up in an okay sized room. It would be really badass if we could get a projector set up for the finals. Man, I’d hate it if I come up with a bunch of idea’s and never go through with em. I really hope this tournament works out and it isn’t a failure like that last one we were gonna have, where we ended up just playing all night. I’m gonna start checking some prices for renting TV’s and a projector online, just to get a bit of a head start. I’ll try putting a couple of hours every week from now on into tournament set-ups and stuff, that way we don’t get overloaded with things to do the week before we have the tournament.
I hope I’m not going over my head with this so…who wants to help out with the tourny in any way? Anyone’s help would be appreciated.

It’s just people fucking around mostly, but you can still see that graphically anyway it’s pretty swank. Looks like it has kind of a fairytale look going on. WTF is going on, no good 2D fighters in a long time and over the past few years we get Melty Blood, Rumble Fish (which sucked, but good hustle guys!), Hokuto no Ken, then this and Arcana Heart are on the way?
Anyway I already have dibs on Princess Olivia.
Hey MO guys, theres a tournament in Champaign at U of I this weekend, I know its pretty close to you guys so you should try to come out since a good ammount of Chicago people will probably be going.
If you could hold Middle of Nowhere during Christmas break, that’d be awesome. I promise I won’t buy cheap vodka, get shitfaced, and miss the tournament again.
