just do fireballs man…it’ll be easy to pick up the game playin with Ky, once you get a feel for the game, then pick some other character if you want to, but Ky’s a good starter character, I’m too stupid to learn him, plus Faust is too crazy and I can’t not pick him.
I think I’m doing some good shit with Faust now, I have to play someone soon, make sure my shit is actually good. Its mostly a bunch of high low mixups with FDC cancels and I’m tryin to switch up my block strings, then going for a throw. I’m basically trying to do everything I saw RF do against american players…just complete lock down using the FRC on goingMyWay. Oh and I’m also doing the jump forward over the enemy’s head and then FDCing right over the other guy and coming down with Air dust for a kind of ambiguous crossup. I also realized that RC after the throw isn’t very useful anymore, and I should save the meter, I think I’ve learned the right places to use meter, and I just realized how stupid some FRC’s are.
I also found some new, and much better combos with Faust. I kept using reload shit and not using the overhead in pogo-mode to combo. I also learned this bad ass combo I saw RF do that starts with a overhead with in pogo-stance. Its so bullshit and does so much damage, even without guard gauge up.
The combo is overhead in pogo mode linked into forward Forward (yeah that combos) then RC the forward forward in pogo mode to a ground combo to pogo stance slap (236 S) to going my way.
I realized how stupid pogo mode is and how useful it is to get a knockdown and try to get an item to land on their body on the ground, kind of a way to set up a mini-aiegis. Dust in pogo stance is also pretty damn useful, I dont’ know why I ever used it.

George, Order-Sol is not cheap at all and is hard to win with against good competition. Also, everybody in town plays a character who gives Order-Sol problems. You can try him if you want, but don’t feel discouraged if you have trouble making him work. Like the other guys said, Ky and Sol are some of the easiest characters when you’re starting out.
Shekeib, the club thing is dead at the moment because I couldn’t find enough MU students who were interested in it. Lots of people were interested, but if you’re not an MU student you can’t be an officer… the bigger issue is that since I’ll be in Japan next semester, the one “officer” we’d even have, me… would be gone after the first semester.
