Just so you know, the tournament was the weekend before Halloween but I think it’s getting moved. If you have to ask for time off, wait until further word.

I think it’s gonna be a console tourney, it almost sounded like he was holding it at a university. The info is up on dustloop.com and it’s kind of… uncertain right now. I’ll get at you when the details are solidified.
Shekeib - I was watching those vids again, and I noticed when you go for meaty bag, you sometimes whiff it. What you can do to deal with that is cancel your 2D into a high jump rather than a normal jump. The best followup is probably to dash and do a 5P close to its max distance, if you get too greedy and run in too far they can interrupt. But from back there you can set up stuff like bullshit j.2K->j.236H blocked strings that build the guard gauge to like 60…
Hey guys, what do you think of holding local 3S tourneys semi-regularly? The number of people who play has steadily grown to what I think could be tournament capacity, and I was thinking that interest has definitely gone up recently.
Off the top of my head, I counted at least 12 people in town who play at least somewhat and if we can get other MO people occasionally it would def. boost entrance. I spoke with Josh, and while he doesn’t want to be involved in promoting, he’d put it on the front sign or have fliers at gunthers, and maybe we could advertise on campus and try to see if anyone has the interest.
What do you guys think?

Sounds good to me. I don’t play 3S all that seriously but I still enjoy it a lot.
I’m in for it. I’ll try to keep in touch through this as much as I can.
I would be willing to partake in this venture, provided that Josh doesn’t stop the tourney and kick everybody out if he loses.

Quick question. I’m in St. Louis for this weekend and was hoping saturday night I might find some 3s. anyone know where there is an arcade? I’ve got a native to St. louis so I’ll be able to find it.
