well the first fighting game I got into was tekken 3 then soul caliber then virtua fighter. I played DR on the psp for a gool long while but Ive never played it with arcade sticks and I forgot all my precious juggles, Ill still play it though.
I had a friend who had cvs 2 so I am familiar with the game I just dont know the strategies involved with the grooves or characters. pokes and links seem to work really good in this game for what I can tell.
There are always people there on Friday, unless the weather is absolutely horrible. At least whenever I go (which is almost every Friday, after 6pm).

I was there last night…played some guy who used a mean team of Kim, Raiden and Maki…not used to a team like that but it was still fun. I played my whack MvC2 team of Cable, Hakoto and Iron Man and got my tail handed to me…and Amond handed me my tail in 3S so yea.

i’m not finished with my mvc2 mix but when i do you fellas will def get a link.
on the music side so far i’ve got. eminem - i’m a soldier, jay-z - the take over, nas - got yourself a gun, kanye west - stronger, and eye of the tiger for the char select.
on the colors, it’s going to be something like this. lp = red, lk = blue, hp = green, hk = yellow, a1 = white/black, a2 = pink. i’m doing move edits too.

I’m more of an ST-type player. Not that I’m all hardcore at that either, but I definitely am better/enjoy it way more.
Even half-fro is anti-parry, but he just happens to whoop ass at every game. Whereas I’m an intermediate player overall, and have to get my wins where I can
3s aint even half-fros game and he still beats most of us at it. he wants to challenge me for best alex. Id be ok with it but he wants it to be a best alex FOR THE REST OF HISTORY so even if I start beating him regularly with alex he would still retain the title. so yeah.
Challenging Half (Or Big D or Smilez) in 2D games is suicide unless you are literally one with the game…or some mess like that…
…in other news…my K groove Athena got destroyed but Yuri seemed to lockdown my foes pretty well…maybe I’ll use her for now until I’m more comfortable fleshing out my game with Athena.

Angel: I was just playing with you man, keep playing and you will keep seeing improvement. I just give you a hard time, cause, well, its funny lol. If you need real advice on your game play though, dont be afraid to ask.
I want to have the best remy and alex in colorado I know eventually we will have to have that alex vs alex match, we cannot stop it only prolong it… which is fine…I need the practice. I just need help doing remys rapid fire I can throw a high then a low then a high and so on but I usually have to wait for the first lov to hit the character or pass him before I can throw the next one so how come I see pierrot shooting them from halfway screen without even waiting for the first lov to hit then just filling the screen with fucking rape disks… I can only do it from afar or I wont have enough charge time for the next one… so yeah thats it.
You have to use charge buffering for that.

On the tournament note,
All the sticks on all the 2D games have been replaced (cvs2, 3s, mvc2) and all new switches for the buttons. We are good to go for saturday, i suggest anyone that is going , to go check out the sticks on friday to get used to them for saturday.
