right my bad. ok Im pretty skinny like 5’8 and I always go with my friend whose the same size but buff and usually wears a muscle shirt (sometimes even when its cold…yes very shallow) I have my hair short and combed forward and I use remy and alex, my friend uses makoto and chun li but has difficulties with the joystick. He bought a hori to help him get used to using stick but gave up and now I use it. I can play well with remy and alex and never use special arts just EX.
Ive gone alot but it wasnt until recently that I actually developed any skill with the joystick (Im a pad scrub, I can do every link and combo but switching to joystick has hampered my abilities by alittle i.e cant really do specials…)
We met up at the Mall the other day and Joe (Big Rex here) introduced us.
I guess I’ll keep up with this thread in case anything special goes down. I mostly just play CvS2 at the arcade. Not really playing it enough to be a top player though.
Yeah definitely. There’s a huge difference between the Japanese style and American. Personally I prefer the Japanese kind (standard Seimitsu), and Half-Fro prefers the American kind.
Of course there’s endless discussion about that stuff in the Tech Talk section. :chat:
I don’t know of a CvS2 machine anywhere except the Aurora Mall Tilt.
Plus, in addition to us people posting here, there’s some really good competition at this place.
Mostly I see people on either CvS2 or MvC2. There are a couple employees that are really good at CvS2, and probably more that are good at MvC2, but I don’t play that.
If anyone wants to do A3 we could just console couldn’t we? Anthology is pretty damn close to arcade perfec ain’t it? Otherwise I have never play CvS competitively and I hate Marvel so unfortunately I am not much company up at Aurora. I am basically down for A3, A2, ST and VF or if some freak has Sam Sho2 it’s GAME BITCHES!
I couldn’t make it Saturday, this last weekend, but I was over there Sunday and played a few peeps. I had a decent streak going though (which is unusual).
I was there saturday for a bit and no one was there. Its ok, mabey this weekend!
