Im a senior this year, I think Ruiz is one as well. We’ve both been really busy, at least I have. I’d like to play again sometime though.
hey zab, you’re more than welcome for casuals
my # is 8323262075
hit me up with yours and i’ll let you know when we get in some games
Hey guys, just letting you know that in the next couple weeks (announcement coming soon), Clockwork Games and Events will be holding Wednesday Casuals in our store. Free entry, come by and play Marvel, AE, Mortal Kombat, or whatever people feel like. We use 360’s, TV’s ready to go, and enough pads for the pad warriors. BYOS (I may have one or two you can use from the store, but that’s it)
Based on interest this will be turning into weeklies with cash payouts, leading up to a monthly large payout tournament if we can start building this up.
Stay Tuned for a formal announcement.
Just saw this - I’ll show up next week!
Sup yall, I am looking for casuals to hang out. I am an extreme noobie player at SFxT, but want to learn.
Been a while since I checked this thread, so awesome to see the Clockwork Games post, my brother-in-law told me about Clockwork, and I thought awesome my own little “NYC Next Level” =P But since I’ve started working with my dad again I travel a lot and haven’t been able to check it out. If someone can post a little update on the how the turnouts have been, if the interest was there, and if the weeklies are still happening?
Unfortunately right now there just isn’t a lot of support (through SRK anyway) for weeklies here in CS. I got little to no run off my post some time ago.
That being said there are occasionally people up here to play AE and Marvel2, and sometimes I bring SFxT and UMVC3 up here as well.
Hey Havok, what days of the week do people show up for AE most (my main game) hopefully the weekends, traveling for work usually means I’m only home for the weekends, and just out of curiosity are you directly affiliated with Clockwork or just an “attendee”?
Yo going to be in CS for a few days end of this week and into next week. I’d like to get in some games in while I’m in town if that’s cool.
I’m out of town once again for work =/ but I’m gonna be heading back on Wed. night May 9th and will be free during that weekend before leaving on Sun. night, so I’m definitely gonna be watching the thread Retekin and when the time comes, trade some info and get rolling.
Whelp, I’m in town now probably until Tuesday. I guess I’ll check back here in case there’s games anywhere, dunno how you guys operate/whatever.
so how alive is the SSF4AE,mk,sc,tk,sfxt , UMVC3 and KOF scene in collage station ?
I’ve started to post more in this thread, but since I travel for work it’s hard to tell how the scene is or even participate in it, which really sucks, but if you’re not meeting up at someone’s or your place then “clockwork games” would seem like the place to get the Bryan-College Station scene going, was thinking about heading there tomorrow before I leave town again for work, let me know and I can take games, sticks(2) etc.
i went there once . and there wasn’t much people playing anything close to sf,km,tk,kof or any other fighting game .
Yeah I know, but if you check the post from earlier, someone was trying to get it going there, I just think it’s a good place to start they have the set-ups, all we need to take are sticks/pads and the games, this thread is really “slow” and dead sometimes, so I think bringing interest by going there and getting casuals in and having this thread active will get the scene jiving a bit =/ no?
a buddy of mine down south and up north tends to get a hotel suite every now and then and have casuals for every fighting game that is played in his area , and everyone chips in for the room paying 10$-20$ a person . i was wondering if anyone in bsc wanted to try that ? . i have enough ps3’s and 360’s and asus monitors sticks and games to turn a king size suite into a small arcade with Head-to-Head displays . i mean all you would need to bring is 10$ or 20$ to split room . and bring you’re pad if you don’t use a stick . cuz that would be cool .
Hey! EVO is around the corner so it’s time to get in as much tourney experience you can get.

@rotendo
Oh wow, I completely forgot about this thread. Here I was assuming that AMP187 and I were the only ones that still played, but I guess I was wrong.
I’m a student staying in College Station for the summer. I play mainly AE and SFxT. I haven’t heard about Clockwork Games until now. Perhaps I’ll stop by sometime. If anyone wants to play casuals, just let me know. My number is 254-307-0514.
anyone here trying to go to evo this year ?
Hey, I’m new to fighting games as a whole, and was looking for anybody in town interested in playing. I’m a friend of Zaboomafoo/Log and I mostly play Mahvel. Anybody down, let me know, 4698781559
