Upgrading to SF4
Hey everyone! I’m finally upgrading to a PS3 so I can play SSF4 (I’ve been playing SFII Turbo on an SNES with my roommate for a few years now) and it’s great to see that there are some guys getting together to play. I had just assumed I would have to only rely on playing online.
Can’t wait to get my system and start some serious practicing and would love to come out the next time you guys are all getting together.

Quakecon is only a few days away! MvC2 won our side tournament poll BUT 3rd Strike had quite a few votes as well. So we will be running side tourneys for BOTH MVC2 AND 3rd STRIKE. We are MATCHING both those pots up to $100 so if you want a bigger pot for those tournaments you have to donate to payments@gmma.us through PAPAL. We had 20+ people vote for both so $5 a piece should get the pot to $100 easily, but feel free to contribute any amount you please. Donations end the 12th so get on it!
Ryan “kimcicle” Kim has just donated $400 to the pot! $300 for SSF4, $50 for Tekken, and $50 for 3rd Strike! I hope you guys can all show him some thanks this weekend for showing support for the scene and for supporting what we are trying to do! With that said the pot for SSF4 is now $820 and we will be paying out top 8! Skys the limit though i would personally feel bad if kimcicle put up all that cash by himself. So tonight in person or before the 12th through paypal throw $5 in the pot. We can hit $1000 easy!

uh…this is surely creepy. i was supposed to move in the sunday before school starts, but plans changed and i will be moving in on the 25th. weird.

Hey guys, names Ruiz. I recently moved to College Station a few days ago. I transferred from community college to A&M. Like Zaboomafoo, I’m also from Killeen.
Pretty much about a year ago, I was a SFIV addict. Don’t believe me?Anyways, I play a pretty mean Viper and for a time I was considered one of the best Viper players in the Killeen/Central Texas area. The only downside was that it seriously affected my grades and lifestyle. Over the summer I gave my Xbox and stick to my friend. I no longer play actively, but I always play at a get-together. Being so addicted to it, there’s no way that I can completely shut it out.
So yeah, if you guys play frequently or anything, feel free to hit me up. This town is a bit boring at the moment. All of my Killeen-to-College Station buddies are occupied a bit these days.
Again, I play strictly (S)SFIV/Viper. Don’t expect me to at the top of my game anymore, but I’ll still be droppin the Seismos though. Hit me up with a text or anything. I won’t bite, promise.
