What possible reason would someone want anonymity for making such a trivial thing? Maybe protect their credibility for making a “factual” tier list before the game is even released to the public? He’ll be mid tier, although near the start he might be a bit more common due to the hype. I’m looking forward to to using the knife more, and FADCing bad spray into Ultra being all new and exciting 
Dont’t be happy too early… the Bad Spray FADC U1 seems veeery difficult with strict timing (perhaps character specific?). It could be seen in one video of the first location tests…

That setup has nothing to do with Momochi, I found it out by watching Tokidos Akuma doing double dash setups after throw and thought Cody could have one. Not Momochi lol.

cross-up (that’s not REALLY a cross-up) j.HP after knockdown is something that i figured out when i first started playing SF4. I always used to go to training mode and practice random cross-ups in the corner so one time i actually got j.HK and j.HP to cross-up on tall characters like Sagat and T. Hawk. I tried the setup on myself but then I realized that people could just walk forward or duck or something like that (i don’t really remember) and they could avoid the fake cross-up entirely.
Moral of the story: If I could discover all that in my first 3 days of playing Cody / SF4 in general, then obviously serious players like Packz could create a whole setup out of it!

That is why I noticed it, as I think that mentioned setup is not very useful.

I guess the thing I’m getting from Ice-rei’s post is a general sense of arrogance. Just because you haven’t seen Momochi use these alleged “secret set-ups” that you have, does not mean he doesn’t know about them or use them. I’m sure a player of Momochi’s caliber is aware of many things about the character that don’t always come through during his replays. Also, it isn’t like Momochi is going around claiming he invented this shit anyway, so who fucking cares? No one is trying to take away from your match man, you played well so stop getting so damn defensive. It was a good setup, and you should be excited to have your Cody compared to Momochi’s, whose is arguably the best in the world.
BTW, I enjoyed watching the replay and congrats on making it onto YogaFlames replay channel.

I’m not arrogant at all but it’s just funny (and annoying) when some random top player does something and EVERYONE claims he found it or “made” the setup. I don’t care whether or not you’re trying to take anything away from me or like Momochi is going around claiming he invented stuff it’s the people who dick ride that’s annoying.
Nothing in that post points to arrogance. You only know me through this thread, you don’t know me in real life so how can you say I’m a certain way because you READ my post in a certain tone? I’m simply saying that just because YOU see something that you haven’t seen somebody else do before doesn’t mean they founded it, created it etc.
I could just not post on this forum all together but I like helping other Cody players just stop saying shit I do is from someone else when I took time out to find it myself T_T.
