@Eternal, If you don’t mind, can you make a video about the level 2 badstone glitch so we can see it in action? I might be the only one but I’m a little lost when it came to the frames that you were mentioning.

I don’t have ultra, it’s not on PC yet. Just try holding the badstone until right when Cody fully stands back up after picking it up. You’ll be able to tell the difference because the throw animation will be slightly slower. Also it’ll do 60 damage.

I’m having alot of fun with cr.mk, so good vs balrog and guile.

Also, trying to input delayed wakeup while charging ex zonk is a bitch.

cr.MK makes the bison matchup much more feesable. Helps that scissors became less safe too.

I have an issue with DWU as a whole right now. You can somewhat mash it out but you can’t just hold down 2-3 buttons as you get knocked down. (at least everytime i’ve tried it doesn’t work.) trying to implement the timing online is damn near pointless. (to the point i’m mashing it out online.)

That’s not all.

Certain button combinations won’t work either. I’ve tried:

all Punches = works (works all the time offline. Online is hit/miss.)
2 punches = works (see above parenthesis.)
punch and kick = nothing
punch kick and another button

there’s a few more i’ve tried but don’t remember. I’ve tried all kicks and it doesn’t seem to work. it’s kinda silly.

You have to time it for when you hit the ground. That was changed. So the best way to always get dwu is to just mash it. I use 2 punches. You don’t get punished for mashing cause you are aalready on the ground

My U2 missed vs Evil Ryu max range. Thought it was supposed to always connect after dust hit on grounded.

I think Rufus and Cody are the only ones left.

Whatever they did, it was not worth it to nerf the damage. The wrench still whiffs like always.

So apparently people said the issue with the knife was he couldn’t get air combos? Why didn’t they give him an attack that causes a knockdown then? Like make one of his jumping knife normals cause knockdown? Or make sHP Knockdown?

O right, it’s complete bullshit and nobody ever said any such thing.

Still wish there was a way to contact Combofiend to ask him how they came to putting in some of these questionable changes. Not just Cody but others too.

I think there’s going to be another patch in August. Ono said they are watching stuff. Tweet to Combofiend if you think something is off. I’m really liking Cody and I haven’t played him since I started playing this game again months back. Just wish his U2 would connect all the way. I would think they could just increase the hitstun and maybe switch the damage around so even if he misses the first few it’s not a big deal. Right now it seems the same as before and less damage which is a total wtf.

Backwards walk speed buff, up knife chip, allow 1-2 special cancelable knife normals, fix crouching knife normals not being crouching /I’m happy

I tell you, that retarded Knife hurts Cody more than it does benefit him. “Cody has his knife so we need to keep his power level in check”. Tho, I would like to have a back walk speed increase as well.
