Normally i wouldn’t be mad if they didn’t show him in the trailer…but after what they did, he better be in.

Well, now that Cody as basically been confirmed to be in, I wonder what his combos will be like, with the new juggle combos and all. And I wonder what his Supers will be…will we see the return of the alpha version of Final Destruction? Will Last Dread Drust make a return? Will we still have Zonk Knuckle and Bad Spray?
I see a lot of potential for switch cancel combos with Cody with his HK.RK and Criminal Uppers. He has so many ways to keep opponents in the air.
I think my team will be Yoshimitsu and Cody. Yoshimitsu, from the gameplay videos, seems to have plenty of ways to get the opponent close, and Cody has all the ways to start, and continue, air combos.
Still, even if it turns out that Ono has been trolling us, and Cody isn’t in, I’m still looking forward to the game. I’m just going to have a hard time finding someone whose gameplay style fits me as well as Cody’s has…

The best two characters that Capcom could possibly put on the Street Fighter roster is Cody and Guy. period. Every other SF character sux!
on the other hand Tekken surprised me with their characters. You got Yoshimitsu, Hwoarang, Raven, Steve… duuude, the Tekken characters are looking SUPER fun to play so far, especially Yoshi and Hwoarang-- these guys are my Plan B characters if Cody and Guy can’t make it to SFxT!
If both paul + cody are not in the game I won’t play it lol. I can maybe substitute one character, but not both. Tho Paul has to be in it, along with Law. They are one of the few characters that are in every game, and they are a official tag team anyway. I’d like to have 1 Tekken and 1 Street Fighter character, but so far the street fighter side didn’t get someone whom I would pick right away if cody doesn’t make the cut.
I duno, I’m getting a little worried. Most of the other characters who were teased at one point were eventually officially announced… Fingers crossed though.
True, but as a lot of people have stated, why would they have Cody’s voice actor do one line just for the trailer? They could have just left him completely speechless. I can understand if Guy doesn’t make it (which wouldn’t make much sense because who else could be Cody’s official tag partner), but I’m pretty sure Cody will get in.
So, most likely, we should be prepared to do something about our boredom, and hopefully avoid profound sadness.
since they’re changing chun’s lightning-legs to an input command… maybe it’s possible they change bingo to a motion as well…

I doubt it. I think the only reason they made chun’s lightning-legs an input command is to make it easier to land combos involving it, and Cody’s zonk knuckle is easy enough to use as a charge motion. Although I suppose :dp: :p: could work, since :qcf: :p: and :qcb: :p: are already taken, and it wouldn’t make sense for Zonk Knuckle to be a kick…
to whoever brought up the voice acting thing: i could be wrong but most of the time, the VA voice multiple characters and/or that voice sample was dug up from Super, but, who knows.

Technically, that isn’t “Cody’s Theme.” It’s a remix of the title screen from final fight, if I’m not mistaken. And I believe the stage they were fighting was a final fight based stage or something, was it? Or did it just have a bunch of final fight characters?
Anyways, the fact that neither Cody or Guy were in the background of that stage, which had final fight characters in it, has sparked newfound hope of Cody and Guy actually being in the game. But I wonder…will they still use the theme he had in SSFIV? Or will they use a new one? Since that song has been used on a stage now…

another thing: rufus is confirmed, that means everyone shown in a trailer with a non cameo role (like haggar) is in it so far. + VA justification for cody as back up means a high chance for him being in there aswell.
Hey Cody players/fans. I’m sure you’re familiar with Michael T. Coleman (Cody’s English VA). On Facebook, he’s pretty much confirmed Cody being in the game without actually saying it.
He was asked if he was voicing Cody in SFxT and he responded with “I can neither confirm nor deny this accusation.”
He was asked again and he stated “If I wish to continue voicing the games, I cannot spill anything. But I am told news will be coming soon.”
He was asked why Cody hadn’t been revealed yet and he said “Blame Ono. What’s with the tease right?” Go hunt him down :)" He then encouraged people to bombard him on Twitter so that Cody can hurry up and get revealed…so I think you guys know what to do!
Just thought I’d share that with you guys. There shouldn’t be that much worrying about whether Cody/Guy is in. I’m pretty sure that if Cody wasn’t in, his VA wouldn’t respond to questions the way he does.
It would make perfect sense because, as you can see, the rocks are being thrown AT her. You don’t throw rocks at your partner unless your a dodgerock player. (like dodgeball, but with rocks) I also wouldn’t use the word ‘feature’ as much as I would the word ‘hint’.

Thats most likely because it is a Final Fight 2 theme stage, Haggar is chasing the final boss around and that music was originally the final fight intro music so…
That being said he is probably still in the game
That’s what I was thinking. All of the FF character themes are just songs taken from the original game. They don’t actually own those songs.
