You really think Chozen would have the cajones to even ask to get press F’d by Kumiko after Daniel beat his ass at Obon?
I think it’s gonna end up being, Okinawa’s a small place, he finds out Daniel’s there and wants revenge.
These trailers…now a days they simply show us WAY too much. It would have been nice to have left out Kimiko and Chozen and kept that is a shocking surprise instead…this trailer.
Don’t get me wrong, I still plan to watch season 3, but these trailers frustrate me to no end sometimes with just simply how much story details they give away would have been exciting to experience had it of been seen naturally.
Even Daniel and Johnnys relationship was showcased far too much, and this could have been something that would have been fun to see build through the episodes…but whatever, these trailers.
Still love the series and I will be watching it, just wished they would stop showing us all the potential twist and turns within it these days.
Too many times when you’ve watched the trailer, you’ve either seen the series already or the movie.

Daniel’s trip to Okinawa felt a little shoehorned in (especially how it magically resolved the plight of Daniel’s business), but it gave way to the Chozen/Kimiko cameos, so I’ll allow it.

Callbacks to the original series are still awesome and feel natural. Mr. Miyagi’s last letter to Yukie was kind of a tear jerker.

Introduction of Ali also seemed natural and liked her appearance. Good thing they decided to stick with Johnny’s relationship with Miguel’s mom.

Season 3 is fucking hype. I did not expect them to top the nostalgia trips of S1 but they did.
I went 10 episodes straight and didn’t notice it. It made my day!

Summary
The actor that played young greese was a good actor but pity looked not much like him.
Ali was amazing. I know Johnny has mama miguel but the chemistry with Ali felt so real and natural. I loved seeing them together, so Im shipping these two and hope he breaks things off with mamacita. Hopefully well see more of her in S4.
Some of the writing writing was a teensy predictabo! but Ill allow it as the rest of it was so damn good. (especially yhe dues ex machina storm girl thing - if she was so high and mighry at donoya or whatever why wasnt she in the initial meeting?)
Oh Miyagis letters made me nearly cry. I was certainly welling up. I dont know if the Kumiko was acting but seemed like she was legit crying too. So beautifully scripted.
The johnny/danial scenes, especially when they are enjoying each others companies are so awesome. That was the case in the other seasons too. Hopefully we get more bromances in future seasons and they end up as best freinds.
Not much Robbie, but didnt really like his arc this season. A bit too predictabo but guessing theyll do the face turn in season 4. He suits much better with Tory anyway.
Loved the scene of Hawk going to town on the bully. For some reason I just wanted him to go “Sonic Boom” at some point. Could play a teenage Guile in a SF movie if there was ever a need for one lol.
Great redemption for Chozen and closure for Kumikom. I love that both Chozen swallowed his pride and learned karate propely and Danial also showed humility and asked Chozen to be his teacher. Awesome stuff.
Eagle Fang is just so badass and lol at the same time. “But sensei eagles dont have fa…”. I wonder what the combined new school would be called. Miyagi-Kai seems the most natural but I like the idea. Danial teaches defensive/counter style whereas Johnny teaches how offense. love it.
Definitely hoping to see Hilary Swank at some point. Maybe season 5? S4 seems too soon, but I cant remember what happened in KK 4 anyway. My only hope is the writers keep this shit fresh and dont let it drag. If they think theyve reached a certain point let it end rather than GOTing it.
Also now need to wait 12-15months for season 4. I literally cant wait. Need my cobra kai mang!
