It’s only 1 book, but the book is 6 different stories relative to the narrative of the book, which is like 550-600 pages long. I won’t delve more into it to avoid spoiling anything, but yes, it’s very good.

I think if they condense the individual stories a bit, they could fit all 6 into 1 movie while still getting the point across. Granted it would probably be about a 3 hour flick, but it can be done.
