I’m on Safari on Mac OSX 10.6. I had to go to a different browser just to post this thread.
Any thread I click on will immediately freeze my browser. I have to force close my browser and reopen it. I tested it and it seems it doesn’t want to unfreeze even after 10 minutes of letting it sit. This is a huge problem and it didn’t start happening until yesterday, along with the threading issues on Safari and Opera.
For most of yesterday, viewing any thread would lock it up. Around late evening yesterday to now though, I can view threads but it takes a while to unfreeze so I can scroll down, reply, continue using the browser, etc.
I have yet to experience this issue on my MAC OSX and Windows 7 64-bit.
As for the phone wise. Do NOT use it till it’s fix. This will freeze your browser and you will not be able to use it unless you reboot the phone. That includes the iPad/iPod or a tablet.
I’m also experiencing this, on Safari (mac).
Simultaneous to this problem is the issue also mentioned in this thread about each comment being shifted to the right, to the point where it becomes single letters per line. The reason this issue sucks is because we can’t read any comments after #10 or so. So posting the solution here doesn’t help any of us Mac users much…
When at work with IE 8, everything seems to work fine. When I try to go into a thread with default browser for G2(T-mobile/android 2.2.1), or with Skyfire, all internet activity will then cease on my phone until I either powercycle(turn off and back on), or i will have to actually force-stop the respective browsers in the settings of the device. With Boat Browser I was able to get into the thread, but that’s where i had the issue of the posts all moving to the right and becoming harder and harder to read as they are all in a single verticle row. Hope this helps some.
Having the same issue with every Android mobile browser I’ve tried except Opera mini. If i’m not using Opera, my whole phone loses internet connectivity and requires a reboot.
