Dave can direct cap can’t he? If not, you can check out eventhubs.com. There’s a video on there showing a guy talking about some direct cap stuff he got off ebay, may be worth checking out.

Also, for the music, are there any songs outside of like old rat pack songs that say anything about luck or seven? Maybe we could just use one of those. Who else has ever done a combo video with a frank sinatra song or something like that? At the beginning of it you could have a clip of a slot machine stopping at 777 or some shit like that.

Just a couple of ideas. I would do the editing myself but 1. My computer is shitty and I’m not sure if it wouldn’t freeze up during the process. 2. I don’t have the tools. 3. I would have no fucking clue what I was doing.

i was not @ al because a 40ft T hawk broke my neck bone. Then sold it @ hook fish chicken. Plus im baroque. Yet i do have jerbs lined up ya! ill be black very soon. I dont hate tekken, i just cant play 3d fighting games. Theres no juggernaut infinites i dont wanna play it

Unfortunately Dave doesn’t have his capture software anymore or it would been a no-brainer. I will definately check out that link you reconmended.

I think we might use a Sintra song but as an interlude, do the combos in sepia tone, you know something different. The actual music is definately in the air tho so I will definately take any reconmendations there. The slot machine idea is pretty pimp, on open combos (no walls) we definately need to use High Rollers Club.

I can definately do some editing. Maybe Kam can help out as well cause he is good at that stuff.

Ah I see. I wish I had a good laptop, then I’d be putting this vid together as well as capping matches throughout the fightnights. I actually might get a laptop depending on my tax returns this year.

In regards to high rollers club, its like the tekken gods willed a 777 combo video to happen. Appease them philip. I think Kam has a lot of work to do with the so eazy mixtape so I wouldn’t ask him. I can learn and then apply my own artistic talent if you can point me in the direction of a program and a tutorial for said program…if my computer can handle it.

I was testing that out today helping Adam with his project and I am successful. Next time I come down (or you guys come up here), I can record direct feed from one TV. All I need is a VCR at the moment. I’ll work on getting a cable converter…I think Radio Shack has some of those…

Recording for the Mixtape is about done though (I’ll record AL tomorrow and that’s it), which was the hard part. Editing will be done on my own time since I have the PP (Premiere Pro) CS4 on my laptop. I was gonna edit on Final Cut, but I couldn’t get it to work on my laptop…so that’s the next best option.

Got to applease those Tekken Gods heh. I currently use a combination of AVS Video Editor for titles and transitions and Windows Media Maker to piece stuff together. Both are pretty user-friendly. After the footage is recorded you can always drop by my place Kris and I can show you some tricks and stuff and you can actually edit too if you wish.

Thanks for chipping in to Kam. I think Dave has a VCR, worse comes to worse I have a DVD/VCR/TV combo.

Mike: Great stuff in the tournament man. It was a hard earned win and I enjoyed all our casual matches even through you always have to get an extra one in. Thanks for lending me ‘Wireless’ and support during the finals as well.

Dave: It wasn’t a great result but you did do your best and you had some tough comp. Next tournament we are definately trying a ‘puff puff’ approach and see if that helps. Thanks for the support as well, F’Yeah. Keep repping that Lee!

Quen: My hype man. Thanks for the support and props. I was throughly impressed by you as well and you definately brought some good games in our casuals. UF+1+2 into GS is TM Drago tho.

Kaylib: Was pleased as punch to see you man even through I did not recognise you at first. Bob was a nice surprise, hope to see you at more gatherings.

Frankie: Ahh Trickster… lol nice surprise. Frankie isn’t your gamer tag after all. Nice to know. Good stuff in the tournament, didn’t get to play any casuals tho so will do that next time.

Skeez: You are hands down one of the most entertaining guys to watch. 4th is definately nothing to sneeze at so congrats on repping Dayton to it’s fullest.

Kam: Didn’t get to play many games but I was digging the Jin like always. Nice of you bust out Ling again as well, that’s the Real KT I rem:

Codes: It is nice to have more Zaf players and Nina has some serious juice. Bruce’s wall carry = godly.

Diego: Didn’t get to play you this time. Hopefully you’ll be able to enter the next tournament we have and show people how to Ewe-gif with a pad.

Quan: Didn’t get to play you either, always next time. I want to see what Miguel tricks you have picked up since console release.

Jesse: Thanks for helping me run T6 and letting me do my thing. If you ever need an co-organiser for another one of these things, I will gladly volunteer. Oh and cold $2 Monster cans = customer for life.

So I did some training today and found a really sick juggle for scarecrow and mantis…also found a way with nina to do the same damage as the ivory cutter juggle you like so much with a less pretty but 500% easier to do combo. I’ll be in the next tourney!

I really do have an issue; when it comes to tourny matches. I’m like not relaxed. I need to drink or :smokin: to settle my nerves. I’m sorry I couldn’t pull it off this time. The beauty of it is there will always be a next time. This was only my fourth tourny. I have plenty of experiences to have.

I’ve checked my schedule for this week and sadly I can’t go to Loc’s place this Thursday, they got me working both Veteran’s Day and the next day. That does however leave tomorrow and friday open for me. If anyone is heading to AL or Gameworks(I know already?), I’d be down. Oh and TvU:G gettin hype!
