Darius: Good shit on Tuesday as well 2ya bro. I was liking the shit u were doing w/ Ling & Kaz 4 sure. Shin Darius is starting 2 emerge. That’s what I like 2 see. I know u’ll be in the lab on this game (like me), so I’m looking forward 2 playing u some more & getting some good matches in. That’s how 2 do that shit.

Its been a busy couple of days. So forgive the lateness of my SO post here. ADT was hella fun. Thanks to everyone that made it out. Jimmy appreciates the compliments on the chili. You guys made it out just in the nick of time that night. Jimmy came home just minutes after.
Mike! Thanks for your help and the encouragement. I’ve been in practice mode going over juggles and punishments. Anna’s ws 1 is alot slower in 6. For faster lows she mainly has ws 3 or ws 4. They changed her up and not for the better.
Phil! Lee is definitely more fun now. He has better punishments and setups. I’ve been working on b+2~mist step into wall carries a bit. Oh! Mist trap was coming out really well yesterday for me. :tup: I am working on something that I will like for you to look at next time we get together.
Brandon! Great stuff that you got your PS3 back. Looking forward to more fights soon.

My left thumb and both my wrists were kinda sore from trying some of Anna’s new juggles. My thumb is also getting tougher skin again.
More good news! Jimmy and I are getting the car back next Tuesday. Hopefully my ride situation to the AL tourney has been taken care of.

Jacob - I don’t know if you read the forums, but MAN!!!, you played really well last night. I see you using frame advantages and truly playing an all-around technical game. It’ll be great to see you actually understand the BR engine and get some serious BR strats worked into the mix. I hope to see you again soon at Tekken Thursdays.
Also, a BIG thanks to the 2-D crew (DJ_San, Avi, Tiggy) for showing up in force, playing, learning, and using group-mind to work out strats. I think everyone will improve with time. See you guys again soon.

So is T6 the best Tekken? Haven’t played since 3.
I wouldn’t call it the best Tekken yet… it is still relatively earlier in it’s cycle.
It is based on a modified T5: DR engine which was one of the best Tekken engines.
All in all, it is user-friendly but deep enough for hard-core gamers. You should give it a go Mario.

Dave: Glad 2 hear u’ve been doing some work. That’s kind of shitty that they nerfed Anna’s WS1, but u still have WS3 & WS4 that even urself say are faster. Even though they don’t do the damage or get as great of setups as u would from WS1,2 or WS1, don’t discount WS3 & WS4. Trust me, those moves have their usefulness & can be very effective in utilizing punishments & mix-ups. :tup:
Dwayne: U’ll probably check it over on TZ anywho, but in case u don’t, I won’t be heading up 2 C-bus this upcoming Thursday, but the Thursday after that (Nov. 13th I believe), so hopefully we can get a nice gathering going. I’ll be letting everyone around here know about it. :tup:

Mario: Good question u pose my good sir. Phil did make a great point that it’s too early 2 tell if this is the Best Tekken to date & the fact that they modeled it afterthe T5:DR Engine, which was a nice game engine 4 Tekken. It is a pretty sweet game overall. It’s pretty easy 2 get in2, but takes a lot of time 2 truly master. What makes Tekken fun 4 me & what makes it my favorite fighter is the depth in which the game has. Tekken has always been a deep game, but w/ having 40 characters 2 learn & master, plus taking time 2 effectively utilize the Bound system in Juggles & Wall Juggles, it has added SO much more 2 the game 2 learn. It’s hella fun & I definately recommend giving Tekken a shot. I think u would like it Mario. :tup:
B4 I bounce, I was gonna ask what is going on 4 the next gathering. I’ll be working a lot, so my next day off would be Wednesday. Hopefully we can get something setup then. I know Diego was gonna have his gathering soon, but I didn’t know if that was gonna be this upcoming week or the week after. Well, let me get a concensus of who’s coming and which day is best. I was shooting for later in the month than the AL tourney. But let’s get some numbers out here now. Monday and Tuesday are the best days for me. It may be possible to make wednesday, but someone at work would have to switch, so theres a bit of overhead.
I will be spending well over $100 on shit for this thing, including food that I don’t normally eat, so I’d like as many people as possible. Eat as much of it as possible, and more importantly, play as many varied games as possible.
And lastly, I am down a 360 right now. Gotta see about this guy Zack knows. Even if I buy a new one tonight, I probably wont have it modded in time to play the games I burned. So, if Kris comes, definitely need your 360.
