Thinking of heading down for some Tekken at some point tonight.
Its been a week and I need my fix…
It’s just an option. Arcade is the default. PS3 is only if both parties agree on it. We did it at the last tourney for Marvel and it worked out pretty well. Even the higher level players didn’t mind the PS3 version so much.
There’s a deal on here showing every flaw in the PS3/360 version. Somebody had a link to it on the SB4 forums. There are a LOT of flaws that I didn’t even know about. Hell I never played the new ports anyway.
I got CoTA on Saturn. It’s probably worse than the arcade version like every other old port though. I probably couldn’t do those combos if I tried. I’ll get wrecked in that game ha.
I will be hosting Tekken6 BR weeklies at my apartment in Columbus. I was trying to decide on a day, but I want to be mindful of tekken sessions at GW Cincy. Ideally, I was thinking Thursday is perfect. That means the first session would be Thursday, Oct. 29…
This would mean casuals at my place once a week from around 6PM until 11PM or possibly later. I have one setup, so someone could bring another setup if they would like. I also have another tiny tv/vcr combo with a/v plugs on the front.
It is my intention to grow the scene here in Columbus and Ohio in general. Anyone willing to come out is welcome as long as they respect house rules. I don’t wan an animal house. That means everyone comes with gaming on their minds, humble pie in their mouths, and no strange smells. Oh, and check your shoes at the door 
I look forward to seeing everyone in the central Ohio area at my place very soon.

A singles double elim tournament will also be held at my place on a day of the month TBD. I think Columbus is ideal for an Ohio monthly, because it sits directly between Cleveland and KY/Cincy.

It will be nice to have big gatherings and tons of talent playing in one place that is not under tournaments conditions. I am looking forward to it.

Hey guys! Iam here to inform everyone that I will be hosting a T6BR release party on the 27th. Food and drinks will be available. If you want to bring something; feel free to do so. Also BYOB(Bring Your Own Booze).
There will be 3 TV setups initailly. One 19" Toshiba 720p; and 2 SD TVs. There will be 2 PS3 to start(mine and Mike’s). Anyone wanting to bring an additional TV and system; the more the better.
Things will be starting at 12 noon. Yes this will be an all day bonanza. Things should be ending around 1 am. All I ask is that you all respect my place and others. Shit talking is ok; but don’t let it go to far. There are others living with me. Be respectful to them.

Loc, I posted over at TZ as well but I’ll say again that this is a great idea and should help the Ohio Tekken community greatly as more consistent play comes from playing consistently.

Ghaleon, I hope SB4 proved a tremendously successful event, work prevented me from coming up to MoMos and having a blast. I should get to work on ensuring I’m free for SBV.
LOL I so forgot to mention in earlier posts that we are doing our weekly gathering on Thursday this week (my bad).
We will be doing one last big hurrah (possible a for fun tournament) before we begin the shift to console.

Just a heads up for all you cincy peeps and newcomers:
There is an arcade in our city that isn’t gameworks: (www.arcadelegendsohio.com)
On every thursday we will be having game night at the arcade. Admission is $4 a head if we get more than 10 people, $5 if we do not. SF4, BB, 3s, Tekken 6 when it comes out, and other games will be played over the course of the night.
This is a good way to get better and meet the people in the community. The Arcade is open until 12am and people show up as early as 4pm. Feel free to show up whenever.

if your serious about keepin this thurs night stuff up at the arcade maybe some of the local gamestops might be willing to at least let the arcade keep some business cards around if not flyers. i know of 3 stores that are chock full of workers who play fighters and im sure there are more they might be more willing to help than other stores but hell i dunno. and espically with t6 comin out ppl buyin the game that have never even heard of the place might wanna come up and play then after that tvc usa then ssf4. dunno just a tired ass late ass idea ass…tired now goin to bed
