I shoot for moral victories lol. Anyways, I went into a long winded speech about this before and I don’t feel like doin’g it again. To sum it all up, chill out for a bit. Come back with a different attitude towards these games and it’ll all be in the good.

We had plenty of close matches last night. Watch for those stank lows when it comes to the end of a match.

And god damn I got a lot of roulette towards the end of my first card. Now I have to wait to play Lars more. Made like 300k G last night.
Eh I doubt anything outta my lips or outta my fingers is gonna move you, so I simply ask that you that not leave or if you’re set on it not for too long. We all play so a varied amount of characters in all these games that we all get great experience out of it. I’ve seen you get some great victories, far more than I’ve accomplished.
And as for those IC Cards, I kinda figured that 9-11 days was gonna be business days, but they’ll likely show up tomorrow or Tuesday.
Oh and as I’ve gotten my schedule I vote that TNT should be in the house as I’ve gotta work Friday…

Naw not really angry, but I did manage like 3 wins in a row with Lars early in the evening. Then my card ran out and I didnt play Lars any more that evening.
PS Lars now has nifty biker shit on. Needs some specs and he may be done…
Kris… man… I’ve been there before myself. Dude, it takes a lot of hard work and heartache to get good with fighting games. Everyone takes their lumps and keeps on gaming. It’s just the nature of the beast, for me at least. I’ve been playing competitively for many a year now and I have the national standings and consistent top rankings to prove it.
Here I am again; a new game, a new city, a new group of players to compete with. Man, it’s the same old story always. Play often…play your very best…lose…win…win more often… dominate. It’s how it works. You’re losing right now, but that’s part of the big picture. Taking it personally suggests to me that you haven’t been looking at this from a holistic standpoint. That is to say, you have not considered that you are actually improving and still learning. Sure you’re losing, but the game is fresh and there are a lot of nuances to account for and new moves to incorporate. All I want you to do is take a moment, breathe, wait for console release and play then. I’m confident you can take your tekken game to the next level if you really start to consider what top players are thinking.
Man, in tekken 4 Jinmaster was a top level player, having travelled the country and beaten all the top players. He had the same level of success in T5. I was new to high level competition and used a character that was not able to compete in the top level of competition, Hwoarang. To be honest, Hwoarang’s never been better than he was in Tekken 4. Even then, his damage was horrible. It all came down to poking and frame advantages. Jinmaster crushed me for a long time. I would adapt and then he would change it up. That’s the mark of a good player. See something often enough and you will learn to counter it. Just keep playing man. If you’re not enjoying it, take some time, but come back. I’ll be seeing you soon.

So people, they FINALLY arrived today. 18 lovely IC cards! There are 5 different designs but only limited number of each design. Just letting y’all know we have:

6 x Miguel (ironic since we have sooo many Mig users)
5 x Zafina (dibs on one of those)

3 x Leo
If you want a specific design and have paid for a card, let me know I will put it aside for you. So to kick that off.

Skeez: I would at least reconmend getting different designs so you at least know which character you’ll be using before you insert the card.
