If I run into it and have some cash to burn I’ll try it out. I’m not much for straight beat-em-up/action games anymore…I want another aspect to it(Metal Gear stealth, Okami with the puzzles/rpg stuff etc.), but I’ve been watching vids on youtube, and I know Clover’s work so…I might do that.

Having played Okami myself, I’m all for adding Amaterasu to the MvC roster for the simple fact that it’s definitely an interesting pick for a fighting game character. Whether or not Amaterasu turns out to be a good character or not is anybody’s guess really, but I’ll tip my hat to the MvC crew for thinking outside the box as far as character selection goes.

Here’s the problem. You’re not defining “radio-mainstream” or “underground”, or you’re giving them out arbitrarily therefor they have no meaning. Drake’s like Soulja Boy? Jeezy? Franchize Boyz? CLEARLY you do not know anything about Drake. It makes no sense to condemn him based on the fact that he became popular.
If you actually listened to him (which obviously you haven’t), you would know what he actually brings to the table. He’s always genuine (you hear so many rappers talking about they’re “real” he actually is), he’s a good lyricist as in puts words together well (pretty important), and he can ride the beat well. What part of that is garbage. You’re presupposing he’s “garbage” because he’s popular. Name three songs of his you’ve heard besides his singles. You can’t? Ah figured.
Other than that, welcome lol. I usually don’t bother arguing but one of my pet peeves is that “Underground = best ever, mainstream = evil” bullshit. It’s an immature mentality and you miss out on a lot of good music that way. Just because no one has ever heard of your favorite rapper doesn’t mean he’s any better than Jay or Luda or T.I. for that matter. Most underground rappers suck, actually.

i dont wanna say drake sucks cuz he doesnt hes just not good either. he just seems like he is the flavor of the month or year or whatever. he will be forgotten about as quickly as he came. and brandon dont even say i havent heard his shit cuz i wont entertain that behavior for long. as general rule of thumb underground is better than mainstream but that doesnt mean mainstream doesnt have its gems.
as for the okami wolf i say its lame for now. i think its a good pick for a new fighting game character and i usually like charaacters that have never been in fgs before. so what im tryin to say is the wolf has potential but as we all know capcom is good at taking potential and ruining it. so dont expect to much. and on top of that i cant imagine how a wolfs air combos are gonna look. but hey i gotta see beofre i make a final decision.
amaterasu is probably gonna have a wonky hitbox, that’s my only complaint.
