Adam: Lookin’ 4ward 2 that video ur making my good sir. It should be pretty sweet.
Also, good times chillin’ w/ everyone @ AL yesterday & getting a lot of games in. AL tournies are the shiznite! I’ll see everyone next Thursday 4 game night @ AL like always.
Good times at Rocket Punch yesterday, everyone! Justin’s matches were so hype to watch with all the other people in the room.
@Servo: I could host videos on my website, but how would individual responses get added to the video? I guess what I’m asking is how would it be different from YouTube’s normal comments area?
I actually have no idea, it was just an idea so that videos didn’t go onto youtube, as Matt said, with us probably saying something stupid. It could really just be done in a blog style format each video posted in it’s own post, it could be labeled and tagged a little bit better and organized easier since it would be a dedicated site, and there would be a comments section if you used any general blog backend. This and if it went on youtube any actual comments would be probably just us anyways, followed by many “YOu guys suck lol mw2 is better than this twicthc shit.” I’m sure there could eventually be more uses if we had a centralized place like this too, but i’m not sure what goes into making this happen.
Also, the EVO womens tournament was incredibly boring and terrible. That is all.
I just moved to Dayton about a month ago, and watching EVO made me miss my tourney-going days. What are the popular games and gathering spots in the area?
@Omnigamer: There are various Dayton game nights that pop up here on the forums every other week or so. The regular meeting place is every Thursday evening at Arcade Legacy in Cincinnati.
Popular games: Super Street Fighter IV, Tekken 6, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Guilty Gear Accent Core, Super Street Fighter II Turbo. There is also a group of Super Smash Bros. Brawl players in Cincinnati called the GodKais, and you can find them on smashboards.com if you’re so inclined.
Brawl is really uninteresting to me with how it’s come along, and I’m much too washed up for Melee these days.
Typically I played GGXXAC and older, BB, and any amount of SNK games. I didn’t enjoy Capcom fighters back in the day, but I’m willing to learn. I have MBAA also, but haven’t yet had a chance to try it with anybody who knows what they’re doing. Just let me know the next time there’s a game night of some variety, I’ll try to make it out so you guys have a scrub to school.
Well what you don’t understand that females were not permitted in the actual tournament because of all the inherent advantages males are given in Street Fighter, such as lifting heavy aracde sticks.
I knew I remembered your name from somewhere. You played melee back in the day. I lost to you and Alphazelot at my first ssbm tourney at SB2 iirc.lol Why did you move to Dayton?
