yea, that tourney at the levee was definitely awhile ago. i’m the same way, cvs2 is the game i know best and can not play for years, pick it up, and be relatively decent (even though the execution will probably be rusty).
i’ll see if i can make it out to arcade legends this thursday, i’ll let you guys know closer to the day if it will work out. if so, everybody who even remotely plays cvs2, it would be nice to throw down!
Generally, they sticky tournament threads a week before the tournament.
Chipotle: chicken, rice, no beans, hot (red tomatillo) salsa, lettuce, cheese, sour cream
Qdoba: steak, rice, no beans, queso, habanero salsa, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, crunchy tortilla strips
Hot Head: place sucks
Anyone who gets beans is obviously a sadomasochist. The aforementioned burritos already fuck my stomach hard enough. I don’t even want to contemplate beans and the destruction they could wreak.
I don’t think they’re gonna sticky PowerUp at all.
Truth be told I think the recently changed rules dictate that only tournaments with $1000 pot bonuses in one game or some shit is required. I’m not entirely sure but whatever.
They mentioned regional events etc being something they’d consider. Might as well ask, can’t hurt!
