Sup guys, My names Derek. I’ve been playing SF for a couple years now and just started getting interested in actually playing the game and not just frantically fondling buttons. So, I asked my friend Quentin about how to not suck and he told me about this site. So, now I’m here and hope I can learn a lot from you guys.
Hey guys, I’m in NKY until the middle of June and wanted to get some games in while I’m up here. I wish I could go to the Florence Mall Tilt like the good old days (mvc2, cvsONE, A3, all the classics!), but that’s been dead and gone for quite a bit.
I have yet to play SSF4, so I would like to give it a shot sometime. My favorite game will always be cvs2, so I’d love to play that. Mvc2, 3S, A3, a little ST, it’s all deadly.
Let me know what times/days you guys usually get together and we’ll go from there!

Also good to see some new faces, I wish more new people played Tekken so I could do something besides get destroyed by Phil and Co. all day. Arcade Legends is where this group of degenerates usually gets together and plays, they’re probably there now as Thursdays are fight night. Glad to see that Cincy, Dayton, and N. KY has a growing community of gamers that appreciate playing with one another and trying to improve and grow.
Hi, welcome. We have an arcade in Fairfield (about 20 mins north of cincy, about 30-40 from NKY depending on where you are) that we play at. Every thursday we get together for $4 at the arcade. IT has MVC2, ST, CVS2, and A3 can be put in one of the cabs. A lot of people play SSF4 but there are a few players that play cvs2, and a few that play ST as well. it goes from around 4-5pm to 12am.

You already know about Arcade Legends as I was there to witness some of your legendary CvS2 playing. What you don’t probably know is that we are moving after PowerUp to new location just down the road from where we are now. No one knows this yet, but I will keep having Thursday fight nights before we officially open. I’ll only be skipping the first Thursday in June so fight nights will resume on June 10th unless you hear otherwise. That should give me enough time to at least get the arcade and console part of the building ready. I’ll keep everyone posted. Hope you can make it out on a Thursday popoblo. You’ll get plenty of competition in just about everything you play if you do

Last time I played Piccolo (Popoblo) was at Game City 360 YEARS ago. I believe that’s when I met the scene. We had some VERY close games but sadly, I lost them all. You were the only person to beat me in the round robin as well. CvS2 is soooooo dead but that will always be my baby!

Anyone who pre-registers during the March 1st - May 24th time frame will be the ONLY PEOPLE entered into the QCF Gaming complete arcade stick raffle. LuckyDay is going to be providing us with a really great looking case, and has also agreed to wire it all up (details on PS3 or 360, or a dual mod, will come later) so you don’t have to finish the stick yourself. The buttons will be Sanwa and the stick will be a Sanwa JLF. Pictures will be coming soon! The raffle for the QCF Gaming arcade stick is scheduled for Sunday, May 30th.

Cool another Derek lol. Welcome, welcome… as many have posted we are a nice bunch of people (most of the times) and we usually post up on these forums when we are getting together for games. All of us are pretty informative and helpful as well so ask away.
Also if you own Tekken 6 on the Xbox 360, I usually play some nights from midnight onwards.
