I’m not entered in the 3v3 but I intend to play a ton of casuals if I can manage to stay on the cab for more than a round lol.

That 5v5 at SB:R is going to be pretty entertaining to watch, methinks.

Also, seems like kof patch was not so much for balance as it was bugs. Apparently one of said bugs allowed Takuma to do EXs without meter or something, so maybe that will take out his infinites I don’t know. They did patch it for free to all of the arcades that had the game, and they actually had to swap in new hard drives, so maybe since they weren’t making money off of it, they didn’t want to go through the lengthy and costly process of loketests and move property adjustments, and they just fixed the obvious stuff (there was a glitch that froze the game or froze the opponent or something). Anyway, it’s a little disappointing in a way. I wasn’t expecting a patch in the first place, but after they announced one, I kind of got my hopes up. Still an excellent looking game, let’s hope it doesn’t feel as broken as it looks. And hey, maybe they will re-balance later.

Yea Takuma had a bug where he could do ex flying kick for no meter (it would just take his remaining meter, if there was any). Daimon could do the same with ex ground pound, both of those were taken out. Takuma’s 100% should not be affected, other than now requiring that he start with 1 stock instead of 0, along with the other requirements. Mature and Joe’s corner infinites were taken out. All freezing bugs were fixed. There is still a bug with Mai where she cannot block for 1 frame while waking up in a certain position. There is an infinite Iori can do to her that is still in the game, maybe because of this bug. Kim also has an infinite vs Takuma, still in the game.
The only real changes are you can’t activate HD mode during a roll now and Raiden takes damage when his air throw trades.
So what’s the story then? Is anyone planning on coming Wednesday or should I just keep it Thursday as usual?

Also, learn how to do the c.mk whiff buffer into demon. It’s a great punish for jump ins, Not to mention your akuma. Don’t rush down when you don’t have to.
