I might be able to set something up. You picked a pretty good time, my class is cancelled Thurs. so any work I would need to do can be done by that day. I have a meeting, then class, then work, so it would be towards the evening like 7ish. No problem if you need to stay. No major house rules really, just take smoking outside. That’s about it…everything else is common sense really. lol. Oh I don’t really have any food, but you can order food at my place or something if you want.
Who’s interested?
::EDIT:: I still have 3 TVs (one occupied by my PS3), but you guys can bring setups/games.
cool if this happens ill be there i dunno who ill bring if anyone. ill have room for a tv assuming i dont bring too many ppl and ill bring my wii/360. and i dunno if ill stay it just depends on if i bring ppl and how late i decide to stay.
hell ya tvc im actually kinda excited to play some tekken ive been practicing and im starting to understand how the game works. it will still take a lot of work but at least im improving
Yeah, he did the muteking ((moo teh king) muteki = japanese for invincible, king = what shin’s underlings called him) glitch. That doesn’t work on console. This is why I was stoked when Jesse got the HnK board, but then nobody wanted to play it.
Wait, you mean he actually goes completely invulnerable? That’s a horrid bug. Shit needs to be banned, for real. All you need to do is get that active and a life lead, and you win.
Video games cost more in Japan. Expect 200-250 at most when it comes to the states, but even if it is, I’m not too surprised. The DS launched at like 200-230 or something like that, and this thing is a portable Nintendo console (literally…).
But really…you wait on Nintendo portables not because of the expense, but because there’s ALWAYS a better one down the chute in a year or two, and all the best games will be cheaper by then anyway. Never buy a gaming system at launch…hell, never by any type of hardware at launch.
Despite the bad quality check RoyalFlush’s Megaman out Nathan, he’s doing some pretty interesting things there, especially with his approach. I love Polimar, he can be put on any team just about and be good because of his ridiculous assist. Also ll.nd’s Soki is really good, I’ve never understood that team (Soki/Doronjo) and how it works, but it seems to be good.
Edit: Watching a bit more in now I see how that works. That DHC did pretty good damage, easily more than some character’s level 3s.
Good games 2 every1 @ Dave’s place last night: Derrick, Kris, Skeez, Dave, & Phil. Also, thanks once again Dave 4 having us over ur place 4 games as well. I-HOP afterwards was the shiznite as always! We really are creatures of habit.
Anywho, since I was so disappointed in how I played last night, when I got home this morning (@ around 8am I believe), I did a solid hour & a half of training on nothing but movement since I was disgusted in that aspect of my game last night. I felt good & my movement looked back 2 how it should be, so I’ll be ready 2 play next time around & not play all shit-tastic like I did last night.
That’s all 4 now. I think I might get off work a lil’ early 2maro, so hopefully I can get some games in w/ every1 @ AL 2maro night 4 @ least a lil’ bit. Fuckin’ bullshit new schedule due 2 piece of shit corporate management. shakes fist @ that douche
Truth, I was gonna wait anyways, but it looks like Nintendo got their shit together as far as launch titles go, it’s looking like an impressive lineup within the first few months.
I looked at vids of that game, and it seems here are a few to fit it’s style/looks: ( also non-RPG) if you would prefer live non chiptunes for 16-bit tracks, I’m sure every song has a cover. It seems to favor fast paced ass-beating themes with alot of percussion.

IMO, 3DS looks good enough to buy on launch. I just wanna see if Special Editions come out, so I can snatch them up for profit.

Tekken friends, I was messing with Raven the other night and I remembered that he had some kind of trick he could do if you do d1+2 lots of times in a row in T5. I noticed that he still changes the sound he makes after you charge so many times so I assume the trick still works, but I forget what you do after and what’s supposed to happen.
It was actually d+1+2 until his voice changes and you do b,f,u,d+3+4. In DR Raven also had a instant clone copy where if he does b,b+2 as soon as he was hit it do a clone as well.
