How would we run a DnD tournament? I do like the idea of lots of different kinds of tournaments but I can’t see how that game would work?
Also, I would love your help running brackets for the next one. I was supposed to have 2 more people helping me but one had car troubles and the other bailed last minute so I WAS a chicken with my head cut off. I was surprised at how it still worked out. Somehow.

I am definately putting down my 2 cents for KOF 98 either the arcade one or the recent 98 Ultimate Match released on PS2.
In regards to forthcoming tournaments, both me and Mike (Sluch) have ran tournaments before so if you need any help and we are there, we would definately help out as well.

Did you guys think about setting up little areas where people go to register for each game? Plus, do you guys have a cut-off time for registration?

We usually just have them register when they pay at the door. Jay takes the money then sends them to me to get their info.
I usually try to wait 10-15 minutes after the posted start time for those who were caught in traffic or lost (Sorry DJ). My program can pop a late comer in one of the byes even after a tournament has started so that usually works out as long as it’s still in the first round. I was able to fit a few more in for SFIV that way but I couldn’t get Frank in on MKII (or was it HDR?) because it was already in the second round. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear Frank.

The true freshness competition should be who still smells the best after a couple heated matches of arcade TRACK AND FIELD. That will work up some stench quick.

I posted my 2 cents about this in the general discussion topic. If it actually works out it would be cool as Hell… however I have also heard some bad word of mouth that it might just be a scam to get people to invest in it and nothing will come out of it.

I just don’t know about this game. It looks like a lame attempt at MK. I could be wrong though, but just from a glimpse it looks kind of weak.
That game is looking a little on the weak side to be honest, and that one guy, Trenton or something like that, looks like old school Undertaker back when he was taking on Yokozuna.
