Y’all know I’m about them obscure fighters and shit… well, think of this one as Dynamite’s little brother, with a decent number of removals (most of the cast from 1), and a very kick-ass addition. I’m sure you’ll get to see him in action, but if you want to know, he’s… another old DE character.
Hell, I just might make it a tradition. The ‘WTF is THIS fighter?’ visit, where we all donk around with some obscure/shitty (oh come on, most of these you don’t hear much about for a reason) emulated game. Just for shits and giggles when we’re all mostly stoned or drunk.
The only qualifications for being run:
- Must be emulatable by the original XBox at basically full speed (New Generation-level stutters at worst).
- Something that hardly ever gets competitive play. We’re all gonna be scrubbin’ it up like a surgeon for the most part, so it’ll be something fun to do when we’re all too fucked up to play the serious fighters well.
“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” ACQUIRED! I should have it in a week or so, maybe sooner if they are quick shippers.
The big question now is which game do we swap out - SUPER STREET FIGHTER 2 or DARKSTALKERS 3. Most votes here on SRK gets the boot.

Hey everyone, Illuminaudi Games in West Chester is hosting games tomorrow night, this Tuesday. I went down and everything checked out, they have the space and the TVs as usual, we just need people to bring their systems and games. My PS3 is still packed up so I might just go ahead and bring it so we can have an extra system set up.
But yeah, start showing up whenever, I guess like around 7 like usual, I’ll probably go right after dinner around 6 or something. Just remember, no outside food or drinks.
I think I’ll post this in the Dayton thread, see if anyone can come down.
Kyle… Mannnn (doing my best Chase impersonation) what’s with these gaming on Tuesday nights stuff. I would love to rock up to Illuminadi and play some games with everyone in a spacous place but Tuesday? It’s like the one night my wife doesn’t have art school so I like to spend time with her.
Arcade Legends: Not a fan of JoJo’s but I am less of a fan of Super Turbo so Super Turbo gets my vote to be axed. Keep the monster mashing.
Tibby: Hah I was watching some Fighters History Dynamite videos a couple days ago, that shit looks like too much fun, I always had a soft spot for the Fighters History games.
Mike: ohhh new character… sounds like fun. Oh and Console T6 is confirmed for Oct: 27th. Yep a whole freaking 4 months away. Gives me time to get a new console tho LOL.

You all have probably seen these but peep The Mystery of Chessboxing (Darius I know you’ve peeped the samples right? "The sky is high, the cloud is low!) and Master of The Flying Guillotine if you like kung fu flicks. As far as old school games go I’m all for the retros. Maming KI,and Sinistar as of late. I HUNGER COWARD!! Game freaked me out as a kid!

Get rid of Super SF. It it were Super Turbo, or even Hyper Fighting, then it’d be the one to keep.
So, now I wonder how much of the Tekken customs are going to be DLC. Aint buying it Namco.

we all watched Gymkata waayyyyyyyyy back in the day at the 2nd UFGT. it was pretty epic. and we also watched Ticks which features Carlton from Fresh Prince as a street tough youth fighting ticks on 'roids. it’s a must see.

This was the 4th UFGT, the one at Funk Doc’s place. My first UFGT was the 2nd one (@Adam’s place), then was the third UFGT at Chris Rose’s place. I’m pretty sad I had to leave early from the 4th UFGT, but living > FG Tourneys I guess.
Bonus: Greatest UFGT moment: Teaching Brian R. how to play Hol Horse mere minutes before his match with Adam’s “borderline unfair” Pet Shop. Then watching him whip out the secret tech and win the match.
I’m with everyone else. Dump Super, and leave VSav2 for now (yep, you’ve got Vampire Savior 2; only game of the bunch where Pyron vs. Jedah is possible on CPS2).
Now, if you can find Super Turbo (and I’m scouring the web for a copy of it as well, off and on), then you might be able to ditch VS2 for it.
