Well, I’ll be downloading both games for 360, and not purchasing on PS3. I wasnt interested in BB at all, but I was intending on buying KOF on PS3 still.
Takuma sat out this one but Robert and Ryo are still kicking. All characters have been nerfed in terms of move set it seems. Projectiles are back in fashion and Andy has his 94-95 uppercut back as well.
Speaking of, Andy appears to be very good.
It really looks like old skool KOF again… akin to 94-95. SNK is promoting it as a re-birth of the series.
BTW since this is Cincy and all we do is post shout outs

Phil: Good games 2ya on Thursday indeed in DR my good sir. Yeah, 13 wins a a row against me & all my best characters at the end of our session due to King beasting me. I felt ashamed in my lack of concentration. I couldn’t block low & hardly break any throws, plus u were playing some DAMN GOOD Tekken so that spells out an ass-whooping 4 me. :lol:
I must remember three things: 1. Don’t drink Phil’s sugary lemonade. Shit isn’t good 4 my body since I’m not used to that much sugar. :lol: 2. Make sure to get plenty of sleep. My ass crashed in2 bed once I got home. Waking up @ 8am to FINALLY get my car back, plus going to work from 10am - 7pm made me insanely tired. Yeah…I’ll remember to get more sleep next time. :lol: 3. I know that DR has it’s over-abundance of Tekken Bullshit, but I must remember to not let it get to me. However, it was COMPLETE bullshit when Christie’s d/f&2 CH combo didn’t hit…TWICE. I couldn’t help but throw my controller after that shit b/c that chapped my ass to no end that a simple, garaunteed juggle missed two times in a row for no reason whatsoever. Oye-vay there Tekken Bullshit! :lol:
U know me Phil, I like 2 play my best & I sure as fuck wasn’t playing my best @ the end of our DR session, so I’ll have 2 step it up & play better next time. I owe that to u & myself in order to get us better & better. Good shit indeed on Thursday. :tup:
Brandon: T6 still hasn’t shown up yet. I’ve talked to the Techs down @ work & they said they haven’t heard anything yet in terms of getting a call or an email about it being shipped yet. It’s kind of funny, the Techs already let me know that when that shit comes in & if I’m not there working, they’d give me a call 2 let me know it’s arriving. :lol:

So I finally decide 2 get up off my lazy-ass & play Resident Evil 5 again. I was quite proud of the ass-whooping I put on that game. I beat it entirely getting the Platinum Trophy in it & all. I even got mostly “A” & “S” rank on all of the stages, even in Professional Mode except for Stage 2-3, where u gotta fight that El Gigante/Ndesu over-grown fuck. That shit was some bullshit. I gotta “B” rank on it. I did do a solid job & got “S” rank on all the stages Ameteur through Veteran.
What’s even more astounding is that I beat Professional Mode all by myself w/ no help. That even amazed myself from all the talk of ppl having 2 have help in Professional Mode in order 2 beat it. That shit is possible, but u just gotta make sure that u do two things:
- Make sure all ur best guns are maxed out on upgrades & that u have infinite ammo on them (Rocket Launcher, Lightning Hawk Magnum, PSG-1 Rifle, Hydra Shotgun, & M93R Handgun.
- Play with some strategy, more or less picking & choosing when & where 2 fight with enemies if u can help it. I was applying some of my Tekken strategies on these Man-gina Haitians & ruining their days. :lol: I was running away 2 a safe place where I know I wouldn’t get ambushed, & then I just crushed all the enemies as they came 2 me. It’s good 2 know that my turtling strategies in Fighting Games helped my ass out big-time in another game that’s not a fighter. :lol:
Sorry about the rambling on RE5, just happy I was able 2 beat that shit. I’ll be giving u guys a call on Tuesday 2 see what’s up 4 games. :tup:

Whats up everyone I AM FREE FOR THE SUMMER!! I’ll be coming out of cryo-sleep to be educated in some DR (hopefully 6 at GW ASAP) SF4 and hopefully cats play the new KOF! It’s been hectic the last few months and I’m glad summer is here! I’ll be posting more and will be seeing everyone at the gatherings, GW, and Legends! :tup:

RE5 is pretty terrible if you’re played any other RE. As a generic action game it’s OK. Gears of Evil
I like RE5 better than the older ones. I hated the control scheme. I loved their stories but I couldnt stand playing them. Running from “scene” to “scene” was annoying too. The lack of a good aiming function pretty much killed your ammo if you had to take down a zombie with a handgun. Different strokes for different folks though.

Crippled Masters is awesome…though I only watched a trailer or two and then the ending where they fuse. It’s awesome!
