I’m all for supporting the local arcade scene, we’ve been needing one for quite a while. Maybe this can spark up a new wave of them. If hanging in Japanese arcades taught me anything, it’s that good ol’ reliable customers and a varied mix of them help a place survive. That and I suck at most fighting games but I think I knew that before challenging them to VF and 3s all the time.

sweet. that arcade is 3mins from my house according to map quest, which means it’s def within walking distance. i’m down.
It is in the same parking lot as Receptions, so it shouldn’t be very far from you at all.
We’re gonna take over that place, Wolf pack style. We’re gonna be like some old ass bullies runnin them machines straight Deebo style.
Oh shit… that reminds me. We should bring some kind of container and do the all-random-CvS2-from-a-hat too.
That is, of course, provided we can get random grooves to work. Won’t get the obviously broken characters from the home version, but that’s no big deal.

Dave: Good shit in Tekken, ducking and punishing Triple Fang was impressive for sure, definately a good thing to have in your arsenal of moves. I can’t reconmend KOF '99 if you want to get into KOF XII tho. 99 is a decent game no doubt but the ‘striker’ system was lame and they changed the 3 on 3 format. XII is a designed as a re-birth of KOF and it plays more similar to 98 or 2002.
Mike: Ahh the MK II computer is living and breathing. Good shit man. LOL after my chat with Nat, she convinced me to finish our set and good thing I did because I felt like I played a bit better. Sorry about the no stick-ness, Dr 4go Jin (say it quickly) felt like being a pad warrior this week.
Derrick: Good games in DR. It was nice to play Julia again as well. SF 4 was fun as well tho EX Messiah Kick is soooo broken.
