Noooo… maybe. I’m pretty comfortable with Viper that I could put her on any team, but combos just don’t go as far without the right assists. + I like not using EX in combos if i can help it.
When you’re in XF3 you need neither. XD

Which assist are you using with Zero, and how are you integrating it with Viper?
When you get your momentum going things just seem to click and work I definitely recommend this video for a good set, though when you’re not doing as well you seem to want to blow gauge with Wesker sometimes which probably isn’t benefiting you in the long run.
lol @ gottnoskill’s execution being “off” - you still looked fucking SICK man. Seismo neutral game was unmatched and your burn kick combos and feint setups were awesome! Can’t wait to see more play from you.

what do you guys do against characters such as Taskmaster, Dante and Vergil who have long range normals. I have a hard time punishing them because there normals push me out of range to move in and start a combo.

MarlinPie is disgusting… However, his team seems to struggle when Viper goes down. I blame this on Ammy being a fairly weak anchor.
Even though Ammy did pull her weight during the tourney, I really think he would have did better against Chris G with Vajra assist and Strider as anchor
I think Marlin was just choking abit during the last few matches with Alukard…not to discredit Alukard or anything–he’s good but Viper was on fire yesterday
Ammy isn’t a weak anchor at all, she actually won teh tournament for Marlin. And I agree with Drew. Marlin should really get on that anchor Strider…or he should’ve started with Ammy
Damn gottnoskill, that was some impressive viper play. Looking forward to more matches, i can learn a lot from your neutral game, how you approach certain matchups and situations.

Played in my first tourney yesterday and took 1st place at SRK TNT, I got knocked into losers early and came back to win the whole thing.
@ 52:00 I get my first stream match against the guy that put me into losers
@1:11:00 I get back on and stay untill Grand Finals
@1:23:30 First match in grand finals, won it in 15 seconds. I focus cancels Vergils teleport mix-up and get Strider too, get the FA on Wesker too. Just goes to show how important Viper’s focus attack is in the game.
All in all it was a great experience, I got to play about 10 casual matches against Chrisis and get destroyed by him, But some how, I ended up beating him in losers off stream. He did say before the match “I’m playing terrible, you’re probably gonna win” so I’m sure he wasn’t really feeling it. It was very nice to meet him and talk some Marvel
Good games, you bodied me in tournament. Just before losing to James I started not feeling so well but both of you guys blew me up hard, congratulations on taking the tournament!
If you’re in the area we should get in more games at some point.
You used to use Vergil/Viper/Strider didn’t you? What assist did u use for viper?
Seismo and Burn Kick. i could never decide. On that team Vergil can use the BK to help with Mixups, but Seismo helped with confirms and gave a significant damage boost.
Those casuals with you really helped me loosen up and get used to playing on the PS3 and in that environment so thanks. I’m most definitely going to try to make it out to more events.
