CIA Surveillance: C.Viper Video Thread

But I thought I might place a video out there showing my team and some combos and resets. I know a lot of mix-ups and i might do another video next going over different assists and what she can do with them. Enjoy!

So for the stair loop how fast do you have to go j. h bk fient j. h because they seem to drop out of it for me alot. Im guessing its because I dont time it quick enough.

an easy way to figure it out is to just L.seismo (jump) j.H L.bk/feint j.H j.S this is an easy way to learn the timing and how fast you gotta do it. You want to make sure you are SJ’ing as well. hit stun on regular jumps and super jumps are WAY different for all moves.

This is my first footage up in awhile I was going evenish with the other players there despite the high skill level, woo!

Chrisis - you don’t happen to know the time marks where you play in those vids, do you? Looks like there’s a LOT of footage there, lol.

There’s a lot of footage, either me or K-beast are playing for 90% of the time though starting at 0:52:00 of the first video onward

My first match is at 1:25:30ish or so.

My first to 7 with K-beast using Viper starts at 1:41:30 It goes pretty well and there’s some great stuff from both of us. ^.^ We would both have played better if it weren’t the day after New Years and we were playing sleep deprived as flunk.

Chrisis, not limited to Viper, but how do you view meter management in your team? I see you go for the kill with DHCs and a lot of Ouroboros XF lvl 3, and the ocasional lvl 1 into Luminous for the safe DHC. EXs and little helper seen to be used less. Personally, the team seems like a real meter hog, which is good, because it means all characters have ridiculously good hypers, so what’s you general gameplan in regards to it’s management.

K-Beast uses meter much better than I do.

Ex Seismo is the best use of meter on the team but I don’t use it often enough, working on getting it into my play more.

General uses for meter:
Insure a kill off of a sub-optimal confirm. Always make sure a character is dead or it will come back to bite you.
Make sure Viper stays alive, having strong, safe DHCs is really important for her.
Using defensive options to change the momentum back in your favor.
Make my fraudulence matter slightly less with Strider.
I don’t feel that Chaos Tide is a good use of Firebrand’s meter when Luminous Body is superior and costs less.

Finally watched the majority of those Chrisis/K-Beast matches - those are awesome! You two use ex’s really well - I gotta start watching for use of ex thunder knuckle and ex seismo in my game, those moves are too good. I liked all the commentary/theory talk in the background, too - good stuff.

That Phoenix kill K-beast had was really funny when Champ was all confused for a moment then you guys explained the options Viper can line up. Champ’s Dormammu in xf3 looks so devastating, btw - Dorm is crazy.

Ryan has one of the best Dormammus for sure, and K-Beast is a monster with EX seismo. I’m not there yet for proper gauge usage for Viper but I have one of the better neutral games with her, as Ryan said I’m lame rush down. I feel like Spiral or something. XD

Ryan’s stream in general is pretty good, I learn a lot every time I play there or watch it. One of the most common lessons is despite Viper having a super favorable match up against Dormammu always respect Ryan or he will body the heck out of me. X_X

Hey guys, i can not do the Viper relaunch with Vergil (Rapid Slash) assit. Its Seismo L, J.S, B.Kick feint, Air Dash Down and one more B.Kick? After this my land S don’t hits ou connect, why? Please, help and thanks ^^

after the seismo you have to superjump, its:

L seismo, sj.S, bk feint, ad down, burn kick.

What you were doing resulted in you getting a jumping burnkick and you cant followup with S after that, you can only followup after a superjump burnkick.
