Good shit man, I’m really glad to have a truly legit viper as part of our community. You gotta go out there and show them that Vipes da bess, and you do the job very well.
[S]What is this Assist-less double seismo combo I’m seeing here with a full team? This is new to me. Does this really do more damage than the seismo OTG > disruptuh > BK relaunch combo we’re all used to? Because you used the latter later on as well.[/S] Never mind! Looking back I realize that you used disruptuh to confirm off of your M.TK.
I’ve noticed that you do your box dash loop into MHS, whereas I just do HS. Assuming I land HS consistently, is there any reason I should be doing MHS instead?
That grand finals was awesome. Great play. Really liked seeing the seismo assist chains on Sentinel for half his life each time. The meter gain on those is awesome, as is the effect of making Champ call him less to let him heal up.
@CTG: Thank you very much for the kind words. And I agree, screw Dark Phoenix.
@Three sided: I’m working on going out to play with Viper, last 2 majors I was in I took tied for seventh, and K-beast has been bodying people as well as far as my coast is concerned. ^.^
I don’t box loop with B, C, S. I use C xx 214A~S, C, S as it’s way more damage and meter especially if you have to ground launch shortly after which adds 2 hits so it’s obnoxious for damage scaling.
@KJunk: If I had competent execution or godlike akin to Gottnoskill, FlyingVe or MarlinPie I’d focus dash cancel some to keep Magneto locked there and actually kill sentinel instead of just a quick half life for free gauge.
You prove that using the tools effectively it twenty times as important as all the executional tomfoolery. You would kick my ass… badly.
I said this before. You’re the one who made me really want to learn Viper. You proved that the character had strong fundamentals and tools. Up until that point, I thought that she was just a collection of situational execution tricks.
Her situational execution tricks are too strong, but I’m glad that I could be an inspiration! I’m a decent player and I’m playing the best character, I had to make results sooner or later. XD
Don’t say I’d kick your ass, various people’s playstyles are effected heavily by others for all I know you could body me, it’s better we test that if you ever make it to an NCR or something we can get lots of casuals in. ^.^
Excuse me, I didn’t explain well enough; I’m talking about what you use to catch them after completing the dash loop. So, you do the box dash into your C BKfeint CB, but then you** land **into MHS for the first launch. I’m saying that I don’ use the medium, and am asking if there’s any point to that.

THEORETICALLY (aka not tested) you can use another EX Burning Kick instead of the second EX Thunder Knuckle and get the same damage output; if that is correct, doing so will result in an easier combo (to me). I based that theory off of an EX Burning Kick performed during the following combo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBO0a0M3QOQ
I should be surprised hes using the same team, but then again I’m not. Aside from the relaunch and combo extenders. The magneto assist is still very good for her. So is ammy. You can tell he is still acclimated to the old game. Hasn’t really explored Viper’s situations in combos deeply.
Marlinpie does not seem like the type to change characters. I think he will probably just adjust or change what he does with the assists. Who knows he might discover a reason to keep Amaterasu or a new combo with the disruptor assist. But I know in ssf4 he played cammy and when she lost her tkcs and alot of people switched from her to someone else, he stuck with her
I was on champ’s stream Tuesday and Wednesday. I’ll get links at some point unless someone else is kind enough to. Showed some Vip/firebrand/Strider tech!
