Edit: videos were taken down
Sigh. More falsehood being spread so that Capcom won’t give back Chuns tools…
He’s doing Chun a disservice by spinning things like that lol.
Besides that though, any changes for the next balance/tweaking patch are probably already in by now anyway.
Next time I’m just going to link to the vid per se  Of course, someone has to look at that, but also look at the Topanga stuff to get the whole picture.
Special Crimson costume (without spandex) for your viewing pleasure
Kind of cool that the outfit is exclusive to him for winning a special tournament. It gives him that “hidden boss” feel (except it’s an actual player) if you ever run into him online.
It sucks for us casual fans because I would like to unlock that costume for Chun-Li myself. Hope it becomes purchaseable in the shop in the future.
You beat the Playstation Network
I have created a youtube playlist where I am dumping all the Chun Li tech videos to learn her in season 2 that I find around, if you have any suggestion I’ll watch them and add them.

possibly make sure the information are still correct for S2, I test everything out personally but I have very limited time so you’d do me a solid.
You see though…this is exactly the kind of BS that drives me nuts. This dude is getting away with WAY more pressure than any online warrior allows me to get away with.
I’d eat a reversal, wake up CA, V-Resersal, call me salty about his performance I don’t care.
It is undeniable that he is a strong player. But what I’m seeing him do is just go HAM - buttons, buttons, don’t stop just do whatever and he gets away with it.
I mean wake up B+Hp!?!?
Is that really a thing?
My brain can’t let me go HAM. I lack the ability to turn my brain off. Everything I do is methodical and I play a balance of offense and defense…clearly I’m playing SFV wrong - probably why I hate the game since season 2 started.
I mean, we can also consider what that player is not letting the opponent get away with. Any bad habits, mistimings, fake gaps or mistakes are getting shut down immediately.
A lot of the pressure stuff was just frame-counted meaties or traps where the only real deterrent should be EX reversal or super. A lot of counter hits were working out in that player’s favor because that’s exactly how it was planned out.
But there’s also the league mismatch thrown in there that can have a psychological advantage sometimes. A lot of those matches in the video were with opponents who were several leagues below. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I know simply seeing a higher level mark or knowing that a player has a strong reputation for doing well can make me uneasy and hinder my decision-making sometimes. There’s that whole aspect of assuming because they’re considered good/great that they won’t let you get away with as many mistakes, so you try harder not to make what you would think is a bad decision, but in the process of being focused on that, you end up missing the opportunities that you need to capitalize on. This leads to things like being hesitant on your meaties or traps and getting hit by something you shouldn’t haven’t gotten hit by because numerically (if you timed it correctly) it should result in you scoring the damage and counterhits etc. Then you get upset and might play on tilt and not recover in time to redeem yourself.
I think passing higher milestones helps people get less in their own heads about that kind of stuff (like if you make it into a new league, then you’re not as worried about the previous leagues or if you make it out of pools/top 32/top 16/top 8 etc. then you’ll be less concerned or nervous about doing it again the next time). It’s like, you know you’ve already acquired the skill set to deal with that level, so just autopiloting or “turning your brain off” at that level becomes easier. Then all you need to worry about is refining what you know to work vs the people on your level or higher, so you can eventually get to essentially autopiloting them as well. That’s kind or what I see that player doing for the most part.
I’m currently playing chun li and I wont lie… this guy inspired me to get better. I made this just because I’m a fan…
