I noticed that lp kikoken traded with EX GH… maybe that’s why? I feel like there is an optimal range to use both versions, but the slowness of lp kikoken is often useful because it makes forward moving specials with limited invincibility more awkward to use.
I honestly just thought he doesn’t know how to zone with Chun, though. haah If I remember correctly, he was barely escaping with focus dash and Daigo didn’t punish very hard to begin with.
I have been toying with this idea like that in my head as well. Blocked lp xx lp kikoken opens a 4 frame trap. Since the fireball is 14 frame start-up, the fireball leaves her hands at frame 13 but is not active… A frame after Chun is hit by jab, they should get hit by fireball and perhaps Chun can follow up. It is hard to set up back-charge on wake-up though.
A while back, I was toying with ways that Chun Li can execute Cross-Up fireball like Dhalsim/Seth etc. I believe it is actually possible with LP Kiko FADC dash dash HK Hasanshu to corpse hop–IF the opponent does not quick-rise B+MK target combo. Don’t kill me if I am wrong, because it has been a while, but I thought it was useless. But now, I think many people would be inclined to slow rise in order to avoid chip from MP Kiko/HK Hasanshu block string. It may be even MORE useful in Ultra with delayed wake up! hehe!
I think I am going to start brainstorming more ways Chun might do cross-up kiko… has anyone else tried this? lol

DAsh ultra on reaction to a mp kikoken from nashfan near fullscreen. Didn’t know it was possible !!!

In a battle of kikoken valmaster was using mp kikoken and nashfan hp kikoken but was late in the battle so nashfan was canceling the kikoken near him. After 3 kikoken like that, valmaster punished the clash of both kikoken with his Ultra 1 !! Are you Serious ?? O__o
Yes this combo was sick but on Ultra no more combo like that since Ex kikoken knockdown on hit + he manage tto comeback because of this combo and take the round !!

Fun matches, I’ve seen this one before. Didn’t notice before that this chun never jumps, ever. Interesting, I always try my best to keep myself on the ground. But I wonder this time if that chun could have benefited from it?
