Yea it is just a test video, it is basically my first ssf4 ae clip.
Next time I will upload a full match.
I was just happy with it, because I am still new in SSF4 AE. I never played SF4, I started to play Fighting Games online with SSF4, but dropped it after 1 month because it was too hard. And now I started again, more serious this time and I am just happy to see my progress.
awesome…good match, hit up training mode and explore some of chun’s fadc options…they can really mind f*ck an opponent
Life lead? What does that have to do with anything? I have a great track record against Chuns since super and I use Chun as an alternate, so I know my shit. Sometimes you get out played. I have no problems losing to one of the best Chuns in the U.S., but I’m sure he knows that I will bring new technology to the table when I face him again.
just curious… since when did the SF community start using the term “technology”? I remember hearing the announcers say it at EVO, and then I realized in the cut scenes on SF4 Seth and Bison say it alot as well…
Thanks. Yeah, will do.
WW maybe? dunno really
Once Deejay loses the life lead it’s up to him to go get it back. He doesn’t have good enough tools to use against Chun to get that life lead back. You are forced to follow fb’s and hope that chun jumps on you while sliding to get back in the match. Plus dj is free on knockdown. Your reversal goes right over Chun’s head when she does meaty cr.mk which also combos into cr.lp if you decide to do anything but block on wakeup.
I think you’ve got a really good Deejay, but against a good Chun it’s gonna come down to tiers. I didn’t make em’ but they exist for a reason. Obviously someone can have better matchup knowledge etc, but that would give that player an edge in overall skill. When two players of equal skill play that match it’s 6-4 Chun.
that doesnt mean that the dj will lose 100% of the matches, even a 6-4 is winnable
New terms are made up all the time. it started just a bit around after the release of MVC3. Jargon becomes viral and before long, everyone picks up on it. BTW, how is your training coming along?
Wow Radient, you really feel DeeJay is free huh?
Not exactly. I’d say it’s a favorable matchup for Chun.
For sure 6-4 = 6-4 matches
its favorable no doubt, but its not like dj isnt moving and doing nothing
ok man, im trying to find more combos to use with one single Cr. lp or Cr. lk so far, ive found alot of Hazanshu => cr. lp => ex SBK => ultra ( if in corner )
OR hazanshu mixup => cr lk => ex legs => FADC => mkmk target combo => U2
still looking for more options
Just about every character in the game can force DJ to block and cause his upkick to whiff. Does that mean Dan beats DJ? You are not making any sense. DJ has come back factor in AE. He has FADC combos and his EX MGU dash U2 is tournament viable now. That’s 500 plus damage. All he need is one knock down.
6-4 is your opinion, but when did 6-4=free. I think Chun beats Fei 6-4 but I betta not think it’s free.
Not to mention that vortex with cr. Mk Used in conjunction with an lp string, delivers a hard knockdown. Other than ex sbk, which can be eluded with a safe jump, Chun has no effective wakeup option. Chun can’t afford to get knocked down.
It’s all about how comfortable you feel in the matchup.
EX mgu into u2 is bs tbh
I don’t think there’s any way Chun beats Fei 6-4… but that’s beside the point I suppose.
