Wooo! After many many tries, I’ve finally been able to nail the Trial Hard #2 challenge. Thanks for the many tips in this thread, it really helped me.
However, in the end, I figured my own way to pulling of. I think [media=youtube]co_qbugtlqk&NR=1"[/media] does what I do.
I used to hit the jHK very low, then MK, cMK, LK LK. At this point the LK legs comes out, but my cMK either never connects or the timing wasnt right.
This time I jump from pretty close, like our feet are within the same tile, at the opposite ends of it. Then i do jHK, cMK, LK, LK, LK (works for me), cMK (now it connects), then Super immediately after the cMK.
I used to mash the buttons, but i tried to go button for button and gradually working on the timing. Either i got lucky or i nailed it. It’s not a combo I’d try online though. No way
just got the game for ps3, after my bf INSISTED i try it…
so i’ve decided to use chun li, and gosh, i’m really curious… how many of you actually use a controller rather than a fight pad for this game? or for chun li specifically?
i’m really hoping it’s cuz i’m a newb at it still that nothing’s clicking as fast as they should, but something as simple as the ultra, i can rarely pull it off in a fight. it’s like i can’t shift my thumb fast enough or something, or i’m pressing other buttons in the forward-back-forward chain. seems like it’d be a lot easier to do it with a fight pad. D:
to make my sf4 gaming less miserable, should i consider getting one? or just continue to rage cuz i can’t pull off an ultra juggle combo… tear
edit: whoa, creepy weird, after posting this, i went to do my trials (normal) again and i did them all perfectly, ultra/super juggles and all… maybe i just needed to get the hang of it. x) off to hard trials!! excited
What you need to do is when you do the hazanshu motion, you hold back for a half second, 1/4 second then press the kick input, then as LATE as possible before she fully gets up, do the super motion and if you have a stick you can piano all 3 kicks in a row and it will be much much MUCH easier to land after doing the stick motion (if however u do not have a stick, you must find your own way to land it)
i’m not sure if it was mm or dime who said it but treat it as if you’re trying to link a jab after the HS. basically, as soon as the blue slash light thigy is about to disappear, input the super motion.
having trouble with one of chun’s trial: FA, crouching hard punch, medium SBK. after the focus when i land the c.HP dan always seems to fly resulting in my SBK being blocked. any tips on the timing?
charge for level 3 FA, input the dash forward command, then charge down( the dash should come out after the FA immediately) then you do c.hp -> medium SBK
Woo! Took the time today again to finish the last Hard Trial. A few weeks ago I had trouble letting Dan crumble, thanks to the tips here I managed to do that. The next issue was connecting the b+mk combo.
As everyone has suggested the key lies in the dash right after the FA. What I did wrong though was tapping forward forward like crazy, but I only need to do it once. The animation will start after the FA has hit. The rest was a piece of cake fortunately.
So really happy now and thanks to the great tips here
Hi everyone, I come here because I wanted to know how dare we can link FADC to crouch FP spinning bird kick (or other combos like cr.LP-st.HK-ex spinning bird).
I don’t know how to charge the spinnings. can we take the down charge while dashing ?
If I remember you go jump forward, HK(x2),cr.MK(x2),cr.LK --> the leg goes and you must breack, or the LK legs can be canceled by an MK legs and you don’t want it. at the end of the legs, you do the classical cr.mk to super
PS: if your cr.MK is blocked, you get the thing but you must adjust your timing.
