wassup pro’s im a chun-li newbie…i just fell in love with her quickness…so can anyone tell me some advance and reg combos please…thanx guyz
learn to hit confirm her cr.mk into SA2
and then whore it
build bar with away+fierce
poke with pretty much any of her moves, standing fierce is good
cr.roundhouse is good antiair
tick throw with cr.jab
cr.jab will be your savior. has to be one of the best tick throws in the game.
Chun has fast walking speed, good kara throw (s.mk).
C.mk, super
Back+fp, super
UOH, Super
KUOH(kara UOH, with mk, adds a TON of range), super.
(close)S.rh (you cant thow this move btw) (super jump cancelled) ,super
f+rh (cant throw this eiter) (vs crouch), super
c.lp is fast, beats throws, use it in speed battles.
Poke with s.fp, c.mk.
Build meter with jump back fp x2, and back fierce. If you get cornered, try to triangle jump off a wall.
Meaty (close)s.rh, SJC(super jump cancel) into either super or jump back fierce x2. If they start parrying s.rh, you can start to use meaty c.mk. KUOH after a meaty back+fierce.
Tap down randomly to down parry.
Chun has an airthrow.
Back fierce (if parried cancel into lighting legs) works pretty well too. For the space over chuns head either dash, parry, or close s.rh.
1.B+FP can beat the crap outta almost anything, meaning that it can stop other pokes and attacks made by enemies. Be able to use the move(B+FP) to interrupt, ans cancel it into a super art makes, B+FP ideal for punishment situations.
2.Watch out for Yuns and Yangs.
Chun li = BITCH
i hate that FP
I find with her avoid zoning and being spaced. When i play her i space myself and bait out her fierces or any lagged whiff of hers, hopefully a super hehehe
if you can stay close or keep them away youll be fine. It not easy to get in on a waiting chun-li.
Chun-Li the top tier whore
Her special moves suck do does her EX moves build bar with far away B + HP or crouching MK’s.
Crouching MK and standing HP are her best pokes.
crouching LP is a quick poke and set-up a tick throw attempt
Crouching HK, standing MK are her best anti-airs.
Hakkei-
-Fast, Beats out a lot of pokes, and attacks.
-Can cancel into SA2 on reaction
-C+MK
-Fast, good reach, with fast recovery.
-Hits low can link into SA2.
-Standing Medium punch-
-Fast, Beats out a lot of attacks up close
-Hits mid and can be canceled into SA2, making it good for mixing up with C+MK for 50/50 SA2 situations.
-Standing Heavy kick-
-Goes over most low attacks
-Good recovery
-Hits mid, Links into SA2 on crouching enemies.
-Good for mixing up with C+MK for 50/50 SA2 situations, and for countering low pokes and link into SA2.
Knowing the properties and advantages of each of these normals, and the ability to link/cancel them into her best super art(SA2), makes Chunlis OTG game pretty strong.
When you are stocked with a super, and the opponent is on the defensive, you can start mixing up with her kara-throw enough times so that when your enemy begins to attempt throw-techs, he/she becomes vulnerable to C+MK linked to SA2.
