Doing kikouken from her st.mp is fucking hard :o
She seems to be a character that is worthwhile to sink some time in, not just because of her v-trigger but also how fundamentally sound she seems to be(still want her b.hk AA from the 1st beta back)
Chun Li on dat low key goodness.
Just timing. For the st.MP you charge beforehand, press the button after immediately going to neutral, and complete the charge move motion as fast as possible. For the cr.MK, some of them I had to hold charge for a few frames after the move connected.
Also, in the corner, a really good way to get into V-Trigger is cr.MK xx Kikouken, f.MP xx V-Trigger. Cancelling f.MP moves you forward a decent amount.
EDIT: A few more things. While in V-Trigger st.MK is really good for combos after j.MK. Not too much pushback, and enough hitstun to combo into cr.LP. Furthermore, there’s a corner combo for punishing blocked DPs that will build over 1 bar of V-Gauge.
EDIT2: Do not allow your opponent to get away with reckless DPs, that meter and damage is yours for the taking!
Hey Mienaikage, what’s the best v-trigger juggle combo you could come up with (without super preferably)? Mainly VT active on reaction to a jumpin and do b.hk. Best I got I think was b.hk, j.hp lol.
Still figuring out the juggle potential of each move. j.HK will do more than j.HP, but outside of the corner the timing and placement are probably too strict for it to be viable as an anti-air combo. If you get a single hit on the b.HK you can get 3 stomps into HK air legs, or 3 stomps to j.HK to super.

First impressions when I saw screenshots and the short glimpse in a video a few weeks ago, I was worried about the hair.
But here it looks fantastic. I really like the braids!
Which option do I have to go with to get the Chun Li costume again? And will these eventually be available for purchase?

I’m curious what the ratio is though how much FM = Zenny? We’ve seen Zenny = Real $$, but not the other way.

F+Hk apparently no longer airborne nor crushes lows.
The F+MP thing is a reverted change if true. She could do that in Beta 1 but not afterward.
I’m still wondering if F+HK can be thrown or not after the supposed change.
More importantly I wonder what frame data changes she might have gotten.
Wait what utility does it have now then? Taking away low crush seems a bit silly, the move has her off the ground
