Well, you can see the Crush Counter Roundhouse in the first video posted by genistar. I’m searching for the Crush Counter 6HK now, but I’m pretty sure that’s a real thing.

Yeah I hit someone with f+HK on a counter hit at Evo and I remember them doing the counter crush turn animation. I guess she’s one of the characters that has more than one.

It wasn’t last night when I tested. It was the only thing I got to try. Think it is just normal counter hit and only thing I could link on counter was cr. LP.

Ok. Maybe it was a different normal. I know there was some normal I threw that caused it that may not have been s.HK. If it was s.HK then I’m corrected. Supposedly this beta will start in a few minutes so if I get in I’ll work on more stuff.

Messed around for about 5 min, didn’t get to find much, but here’s a few things (Sorry, I didn’t grab damage numbers):

[*] B+HP VTC CrHP does not work.

[*] While we’re on the subject, I actually couldn’t get anything to link off VTed HK normals besides F+HK into crLP (which actually won me a match with magic pixel). HOWEVER, CrHP VTC stMP crHP works wonders. crHP is 2 hits normally so it becomes 6 hits but the 2nd hit (as in, the 2nd hit of the normal crHP so I would guess this relates to the last 3 hits of VTed crHP as well) is only cancellable into super and EX moves. CrHP VTC stMP crHP xx CA only did damage in the 400s IIRC. That’s a lot but not really worth how much VT time you lose. I’d instead cancel into EX LLegs which is 40% stun for the whole combo.

[*] EX Fireball links into crLP even outside the corner. The link seems to only work after crHP (like the LK LLegs BnB) but it’s a nice jump-in punish option with EX LLegs as the ender if you only have two meters. I can’t remember if both hits of crHP will still let it work outside the corner but in the corner it works fine.

[*] V Trigger adds hitstun to Light Punches! Obviously I’m talking Chun exclusively but V Trigger definitely lets her link crMK even after 3 crLPs. Not sure why this is but it works. This allows her to rack up damage and stun by not only comboing into crMK but canceling that into HK LLegs which doesn’t connect after crLP.

[*] F+HK is NOT a crush counter move. stHK crush counters but honestly, the only normal I could link was stMK which isn’t cancelable. Maybe she can get a sweep but IDK. You can definitely hitconfirm into super off it tho…actually, maybe stMK is another normal that only cancels to EX moves and CAs. Or who knows, maybe Capcops wanted it so that all she could get was super.

[*] Oh yea, I’m sure some other people could probably hitconfirm VTed crMK but I couldn’t. It seems my reactions just a bit off tho. BTW, VTed crMK links into stMP and vice versa. crMK, stMP only works at kissing range tho so no shenanigans.

[*] I couldn’t find a single normal that would allow V skill to hit but tbh, I usually had it built up near the end anyway. Couldn’t even get it off jump-ins which I’m sure worked in a video before. Before anyone else wastes their time like me, V Skill into LK LLegs in the corner looks like she can juggle afterwards if done right. Nope. Even CA wont hit.

Anyone with tips on what I can do after LLegs since it leaves them standing? Do I walk out of their poke range (assuming they’re gonna press a button) and whiff punish? I usually get hit or trade if try to crMK or sweep.

With V Trigger activated, her F.HK and her Overhead D.LK can be combo’d off into a s.MP-c.MK-EX-Legs.
When doing the combo from D.LK, you can get only the s.MP - Legs out, too far away for the c.MK to link.

Oh, yeah, I just found a video where Combofiend hit a “classic” counter with that command move, I was wrong, sorry about that.

While in VT, you can link f.MP/b.MP into super if you want a safe hitconfirm that is easier than cr.MK xx super FWIW.

You can do instant air mk legs, and get a combo. Also hits crouching

Seems easier to link on crouching chars, but possible on standing also.
