Patch is now available through steam, is it me or sbk / ex lks now leave you closer to the opponent? Right now after both of them you can dash, ialls, cr. Lk lks, st. Lp lk lks, I think that wasn’t possible anymore on season 2.0.
The legs are basically the same. Dash x1,fhk still leaves the opponent a decent distance away against backrise.

Yeah man, been out here since like 2011. Got a couple of kids, boy that’s turning 6 and girl that’s turning 3, Australia life is good. It’s VERY clean out here and not much crime to speak of, great place to raise kids. The only downside is that the internet is crap and all my best friends are in the states, but it’s a small price to pay for raising kids in a good, safe environment where you can actually make a living.
Wish my wife luck, she’s made it to the semifinals of her interview for a 160k a year job! Only her and 3 other candidates, down from like 30.

I’ve been playing all day and in summary things are even worse now. She really got no improvement afaik, however now top tiers are still a lot better than her, meanwhile low tiers are worse for her now since they have improved, until now Ryu matchup was OK, however it feels a lot more difficult now, there’re no longer SRK trades and feels more solid against, and so on and so forth.
I’m simply going to stop playing her and SFV altogether. No use to torture myself playing her as is, it’s no fun and every match no matter which character you play against feels like an uphill battle and I’m tired of it. There are so many cheat characters with 0 execution and ridculous tools, it’s insulting what Capcom has done to us.

I love how she’s the ultimate bottom tier for now (25th). Well, it’s deserved. Kudos crapcom. Always able to do worse than expected lol
With the invincibility back on SRK, winning with Chun feels even more random, and her safe options & pressure are even more limited.

The same people claiming Chun Li being top tier (S2) and still begging her to be nerfed seem to struggle with her new trials. Particularly the Crush Counter and follow up BnB punish: st.hk (CC), dash, st.mp, c.mk xx lk.SBK… I’m at loss of words and don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Eventhubs reset the tier list, Chun and Juri at the bottom. And it can actually keep Chun there because there are not a lot of F.A.N.G.s, and they can actually surprise people who do not know the match up. Juri has also slightly improved (hopefully) and gets a functional AA tool to instill fear in jump-ins. Chun Li comes with heavy execution and doesn’t have the benefit of either.

I think the bottom 5 might be Chun, Juri, Ryu, Alex or Fang or somebody. Capcom didn’t do enough in this patch so the patch failed really

because I didn’t realize it was asking l.SBK and kept doing m.SBK
Sounds about right, just Alex is probably not there, I would think Nash or Mika with her new nerfs would fight for that spot (I’d go Mika personally because the fact that nash crouching fierce is +3 on block is fucking bonkers, but I am bad at the game)
We need Dan to be a Season 3 character so Chun can feel strong

When people will figure out the DP changes even Dan would be a threat for Chun, I guess.
They probably thought she was still viable with all the white dmg she was able to build on wakeup with 2.0 DP system, but now this is not free white dmg anymore.
And as she was not given anything to compensate this (I really need a df.stomp input, don’t know why they didn’t give this to her like they eventually did in IV), it’s even harder to win. Feels like almost 100% mind game with Chun.

Nothing infuriated me more than have my St. Hk whiff. So I went with F+Hk, unless I had VTrigger available.
If only I had the time to be Go1-Like. Chun is most certainly a chore to win with. That got old in 4 and Laura is being used too much these days making her not as fun to play for me even known I was using her since the beta; so I’ve shelved this game for now.

My guess is they have the challenge end with Lk SBK because it’s easier to do? gtfo.
At least have them give us the option to do lk or mk. still the same window buffer right?
