Back then there was a Treehouse of Horror in every back yard, and everybody was watching animated comedies.

It was a facetious remark combined with a bit of nostalgia. I’ve been on this site sincce day 1 and I have always gone to shoryuken.com, not straight to the forums. I care about the front page and I think it’s really good that it is now regularly updated. In fact I was thinking the other day that surely Keits is getting to the point where he should be salaried, the man hours on the amount of content he produces must be borderline full time hours
I only click on stuff I am interested in. I’m not one of those guys that gets angry because there isn’t enough REAL NEWS in the newspapaper or whatever. The clicks and traffic will eventually decide what goes on there.
As long as it remains easy enough to keep track of what is interesting to the individual, they could have 10 billion articles about how Tomo Ohira never ONCE missed his school bus, Majestros analysing the frame data in transformers cartoons and NKI testing whether there is any lag on sarcasm

Glad to see that. The comments on the front page article usually range from stupid to ridiculous. Apparently people expect Keits and Kineda to have 4-5 news post a day all related to very important events and news.
I have never had one single problem with the front page. We need Ronin’s angry batman face to lighten this thread up 
My only ever problem with the front page was that it wasn’t updated, really.
Also surely this site makes enough money now to pay people to go full time, I mean come on. If Wizard isn’t bringing in bucks then he needs to ask himself why not. I know he’s always been against advertising and it being all about a good experience, but then so was Mark Zuckerburg, right?
There used to be 0 ads, now there are a few and they are pretty discreet. I’m not saying there should be more ads, I’m just trying to point out that the popularity of this site and the activity are high enough to make enough money to pay people to run it better and grow more
Actually, whats worse than the constant updates on the front page is all those fucking marks that comment on them who probably never look past the front page. It’s like a bunch of 12 year old kids.
