what you see as my “improvements” actually comes from annoying stephen with shitloads of Mvc2 questions, 2 or 3 conversations with g3nn on MSN, 1 conversation with Green on msn about fastfly (which i don’t do), and random nights where I play Chau at Orbit. I don’t even have mvc2 at home. I don’t even have 3s at home. Hell, I don’t even have my joysticks. There was a point where I had stick but now i don’t even know where they are.
The only reason you see me winning is because I took out psylock and replaced her with Sentinel. I don’t even know how to use Sentinel. He’s only there as an assist and as a DHC. Same for Storm. I don’t actually know how to use her i just RH into combo into drill claw into super…then DHC…and then i switch sentinel back out.
Hahahaha Matt said we’re just playing Video games. But he found the need to refuse a hand shake and have a tantrum after I somehow beat him in marvel. He was blatantly taking it as if it was more than just a game. I’m not hating. I’m just pointing it out.

I could have given you a ride back to sauga to come play. I really didn’t even know thats what you guys were going to do though. I really don’t know how good all of you would do if you practiced a lot like you said you all don’t, but right now I actually do think bry is the best from Canada from the players that I have seen play. I’m not saying this because I’m good friends with him. I’m saying this because he played sooooo insanely good the last xmas tourny we had and I’ve seen him just go absolutely insane.
Tao I know I haven’t really even seen you play and I’m sure you are better on american sticks as well as all of us who play on them, but I wouldn’t really say that you or the few people you mentioned from TOSF could be better if you practiced a lot. I can’t say your wrong either though considering that hasn’t happend lol.
Keep in mind I’m not talking shit to you at all. I think you are the second best from all the players I’ve seen in Canada to be honest. I don’t really know how well you play on american sticks though. When you come down to T7 I’d be happy to host a little something at my place and we can all hang out for a night and play some marvel and shit. Isaac will probably come too assuming he can get enough vacation time to come here as well as all the other major tournaments around the world that he wants to attend.

matt, dood you’re right i don’t know jack shit, but when i talk to the people, they say things like “i just started learning marvel” and “i don’t play marvel seriously”. things for sure could have changed since the last time i was there, but when i played js and roger, they looked like they HAD just started playing the game, but was awesome at blocking and zoning. well at least the one person i can say for sure about is jonstar. cuz frankly, he IS bombstar.
cruxway, i do play third strike. but not seriously, but i’m considered one of the top players from bc. i did somewhat alright against decent players at t6, but you guys are for sure better no doubt. i don’t enjoy footsies so that’s why i stopped playing here, but you guys play a style considerably more fun to play against so next time i’m up there, i’ll make sure i get some third strike in.
isaac graham: if by “bet” you mean by the slaps, sure, but for money, i DON"T have a respectable job like you do and i’ll still be in university with tuition or whatever but if you wanna put like $20 on whatever thing we do instead of the slaps, yeah sure, i’ve actually never done a slap match so i really wanna try. and don’t pretend to be “a local player” because we have a guy here who acts like that and it’s REALLLY cocky sounding cuz i know you’re considered a top player and you know people consider you to be a top player.
is that poeta as mystic-god? i do think that’s you. your name is confusing with mythic exile hahaha. i really wish i talked to you about a ride, i can’t remember if you were even around on the last day… were you? anyways, we should for sure go and play. and i think it’s completely natural to think jiggabry is better since you’ve had the leisure to play with him in lots of casuals etc. and about american sticks… i actually am not good at all with MAS sticks and i think that’s what you guys use. they’re kinda stiff and the box is really big, which makes using it on my lap kinda awkward cuz it moves too. i LOVE playing at the arcade cuz you can push the joystick as hard as you want, and the machine won’t move. when i play you guys on console, i’ll be bringing my friend’s cvs2 pro stick, it’s something i’m comfortable playing with, although i am better on american p360’s in an arcade. there won’t be any excuses for sticks though, but i dunno why but the controllers at orbit were so wierd, unlike any japanese stick i’ve ever played on and they’re supposed to be all the same.
anyways, i hope there won’t be like a shitload of other posts by the time i’m done this one. and my offer still stands to pay for jiggabry’s plane ticket. that will provide a faster end to all of this, and it’ll save ME more money actually so it’s fine with me

yeah, we have reading week. And just a point on some of your posts, Tao, saying you have more natural skill and talent, and the fact that you don’t practice doesn’t give you a right to criticize other players, whether they win through talent or through practice. Basically it’s a cop out, I mean, anyone could then claim that they should have won a tournament or what not, but they didn’t practice as much as the next guy. When it comes down to it, either you win or lose, how you do it doesn’t really matter. (I’m not saying cheating and shaking the cabinet), I’m just saying that people like Bry who have both talent and practice, however much he may, deserve the respect for getting where he is. That’s why everyone, be they TOSF or Sauga, and anywhere else, respects Bry, he’s just that good of a player. When someone like Roc or JS losses to him, they don’t complain about not having practiced enough, because in the end, that was their choice. It’s like saying, I could win the olympic 100 m dash, but I don’t because I don’t practice enough, and that somehow detracts from those who do train. Not trying to get into an argument, just my two cents worth, you seem like a fairly logical guy, and everyone seems to think you’re a cool guy, so I just wanted to mention that.
On another note, Mystic-God, defending your friend is alright and everything, but really, tournaments and this whole scene resolves around people getting along and friendly competition. If Matt can’t get along, then there is no reason for people to have to put up with him if they don’t want to. It would be the same if someone from Sauga held an only Sauga tournament, its your choice. If the people running T7 want to ban him, they can, and have every right to. Making it personal only compounds the issue and it’ll have a negative effect on the whole scene.

hahahaa the BEST players in BC are archer, labinator and gumby who use chun, ken, and yun respectively
and they aren’t as good as the top in toronto i am quite certain of it.
