Recently, China temporarily lifted its 14 year ban on video game consoles. This ban was because of concerns over consoles’s effect on the mental state of the country’s youth.

What does this mean for the industry? Could this be a game changer in the console wars?
Those consoles are MADE there but they couldn’t play them until now? Lol China.
from what I know, most chinese gamers are poor mofo’s. they go to gaming cafes to get their game on because building a gaming computer or buying a console on their “black market” is still expensive.
game industry ain’t gonna change yet just because the chinese got consoles now, it just means that sales might increase a little bit. but i know JP developers are trying to infiltrate in the CN market; most likely opening up studios in China. I know China is in love Monster Hunter right now, lol.
