Even sadder is the disgusting vertical trail of scar tissue starting from the base up that sometimes forms a keloid. In worse cases the scar tissue become fairly rigid and causes the sides of the breast to droop so each one looks a little like an upside-down heart.
If itās for health reasons you canāt argue their choice, but if itās for purely cosmetic or career driven reasons, it just seems like it hurts rather than helps. Basically self-mutilation IMO.
