I’ve got a few combos, but no way to record them. What if we all posted them and had lud or brian put them in the exhibition? Sort of a Chun community effort?

Good idea, but i can’t do that, I already promise my friend that he’ll do the recording with my next combo video, The last one had a bad quality.
Do you mean that we write all the notation of our combos on here? I’m really bad at that and too lazy for all that too. Like Brian said there are never enough combos video, but if you don’t have a way to record it, i guess Brian or me can record it for you. Sorry!

I am working on new combo videos.
I have to do one with various characters for January, so Im giving it maximum priority atm.
I want to do combo videos for Morrigan, Dr. Strange, Ryu, Akuma and Chun Li, but I am not sure if I’ll be sharing them soon, because of the other video I mentioned above.

I could record the combos for you, but Im not sure if I’ll be able to do that soon =/
That’s why I havent posted anything so far =(

If any of you guys are willing to post the shorthand notation for a few sample combos, I’ll transcribe them into the fancy icons and whatnot for you.

I just wanna see what people are working with. I’m getting bored of Buktooth --> SBK loops.

Does Buktooth loop even still play chun? Brian’s vanilla loop is better.

Nah Buktooth doesn’t play Chun anymore.
And I finally was able to do Brian’s loop, but not consistently. Honestly though, even Brian has dropped it every time in his last few videos. It’s extremely good and worth knowing, but I don’t think it can be your only BnB. It’s just too sensitive to hitstun decay, character height, etc.
I think we need more realistic options that lead to good damage. (just to clarify, I’m not saying Brian’s bnb is unrealistic - it just doesn’t fit a lot of situations)

As of now, I’m basically just hit-confirming into a few SBK loops. It’s not optimal, but I’ve been too busy for the past few days to go into the lab and find better options.

You’re right… I have some nice little combos now. chun way to fun now. For some reason i suck at landing the otg after an air grab, i don’t always get it, I almost never get it with the ground throw.

I know my loop is kinda hard, but I really got used to it, so it has become quite easy for me to do. Well, in vanila that is…
I dont know what they did, but they tweaked the hitboxes on the entire game [I suppose] and somehow, even the second loop has become harder =S
But as I said, I got a lot more damaging and easier combo BnB for her.
Just give me the time to get it all done.

Wesker/Chun-Li/Phoenix user part of the winning 3-man team. He’s still using that team in Ult apparently. Gutting out the Phoenix nerfs and using her non-Dark form a lot more on point. I’ll try and get UMvC3 vids of that team/player in action.

By playing the mode online a bunch. The breakdown on capcom unity says that there’s a “chance” at unlocking them. So Heroes unlock for the Capcom side and heralds for marvel.

Unless you plan on using the mode a whole damn lot, I wouldn’t expect to get chun specifically.

Good stuff, Brian. Not sold on the Akuma assist though. Seemed like converting combos off of it was unreliable. What do you think?
