just the whole “lock-in” thing is kinda silly anyway. I’m not sure the average age of the players there, but I’ll just tell you off hand the majority of the chigago players are 21+ with the average age prolly being around 25. I’m down for playing games there, and paying a 3-5 dollar entry fee, but if peeps wanna head out or go to get food or whatever, that should totally be an option, not tied to the price. and ya, there prolly will be people that would pay an additional 5 bucks just to stay and eat & drink without having to head out again, but like I said, it should be optional.
also I wanted to inquire about parking. is there a lot or something or do you have to fight for a place? not too familiar with the area so just wanted to check beforehand.
anyway, I’m down to at least check it out. my gf has a concert on the 16th, so that isn’t gonna work with me, but maybe some other time in the future.
Ok you don’t have to fight for a parking space tho you will have to find one its not hard at all as the many times we go up there we instantly find one so not a problem.

Yeah pretty cool place. Kinda small but nothing uncomfortable. Place closed a little after 2 am, don’t know if thats a regular thing or not. Played a lot of new ppl but the skill level isn’t that high, no offense, I’m not hot shit either. I’m guessing a lot of the ppl there are kinda new to 3S and other games and are still getting a grasp it. I guess the only real improvements this place would need to attract more fighting game players is slightly later close time and more tvs to accommodate all the games ppl would want to play

Damn good challenges in 3rd Strike on friday. Hopefully I can make it this Friday. However the way it’s currently looking I don’t know if I’ll even be able to make it due to things that came up. (stupid meetings for conventions.)
Every Friday, $5 and you play any 2-D fighting game all day. The cover charge keeps us open until 2 a.m.
We have small bracketed tournaments in Street Fighter 3 3rd strike, and cvs 2, to decide who will be known as the champion. More games will be added upon sufficient demand.
Many snacks are available for purchase.
Space is somewhat limited so send me a message so we can know about how many people are coming.
Note. It probably goes without saying for high level play but it is probably best if you bring your own stick/controller to avoid disputes over control responsiveness. We do have our own but if you have it and want to bring it Great.

hell yeah; you guys aren’t that far. 1:30hrs is sorta a pain, but if I’m getting 6-8 hours of gaming in against diff. competition, it’s worth it. And Yosh, I think you’re forgetting that I live in WISCONSIN. I’ll talk to Nappy and some others and see if they’re free 11/24.
